More like a double bogey in this case. Smith's issues are apparently two fold - 1. He's been called out in multiple places for not doing the work in the off-season to build up his body so that he can avoid repetitive injuries 2. His eye discipline (or lack thereof) is not allowing him to fully utilize his physical tools

I have no problem with the guy and love his blocking, but I don't think the position is worth it anymore due to how the game has changed in the past decades. The days of Csonka have faded.

So do you want no changes? Just let him get 10 carries for 17 yards every year? His receiving skills are great, but we didn't use him enough - less than a hundred yards for the season.

Ingold is making less than $4mm in 2025; he’s making about the same as Kader Kohou. It’s not like there’s a huge investment there.

Additionally, his biggest impact is as a blocker. Do you remember who Tyreek said was the most important player on the offense in 2023? It was Ingold. His value in a 21 formation is difficult to overstate.
