The phrase has been translated into steel in some versions of the bible, which is not a stretch if you've ever sharpened a knife.Think he meant iron sharpens iron but its Ray so who knows![]()
Surprise, surprise, surprise. - LOLWait... what??![]()
Seems par for the course with what we know about Smith so farTwo weeks ago at an OTA Waddle burned him on a play and Smith pulled the old "I hurt my leg, that's why he beat me" routine. He came back to participate in the same practice later on and by all accounts he's been a full participant since. He's not injured so far as I can tell.
Well, maybe just his pride. - LOLSeems par for the course with what we know about Smith so far
More like a double bogey in this case. Smith's issues are apparently two fold - 1. He's been called out in multiple places for not doing the work in the off-season to build up his body so that he can avoid repetitive injuries 2. His eye discipline (or lack thereof) is not allowing him to fully utilize his physical toolsSeems par for the course with what we know about Smith so far
I put zero weight into thatChubb already getting an orange jersey is a great sign…should be on track to start opening day

I have 6-11 on my list7 wins at best
Watch tape of his blocking ability
Impact. He's the highest paid fullback in the NFL. He needs to show he is the best of the 24 remaining fullbacks in the game.
I have no problem with the guy and love his blocking, but I don't think the position is worth it anymore due to how the game has changed in the past decades. The days of Csonka have faded.
So do you want no changes? Just let him get 10 carries for 17 yards every year? His receiving skills are great, but we didn't use him enough - less than a hundred yards for the season.
Lol. In any case, sounds like you are set with our current team.![]()

A wise choice, but "whetstone sharpens steel" doesn't have the same ring to it, or meaning. Also, steel is comprised mainly of iron, so there's carryover there.I use a whetstone.
Huh... I've never considered that. Fortunately the quote only exists in one of many "translations" as far as I'm aware. And as I said in my other post, steel is mainly made of iron.Which honestly annoys the crap out of me, because steel wasn’t really mass produced until hundreds of years after the New Testament.
In China.
