You can choose to believe what you want. But this doesn't happen at the NFL level. Running back and fullback are very different positions. To be a fullback in the NFL you need to know how to play the position, plain and simple.
Waiting for a free rusher or chipping the outside rusher in pass protection is not the main aspect of being a fullback.

I think his point is that the fullback position in Miami’s offense has a lot more to do with lead blocking on linebackers than pass blocking. It’s decidedly different than pass protection.
I imagine you both know this.
However, the thinking that Gordon can’t be a fullback at the NFL level is probably misguided.
