[intro]The Dolphins will hold a three-day minicamp starting at 10:15 a.m. today at their Davie headquarters, 7500 SW 30th St. Admission is free.

Wannstedt said they plan to experiment with several defensive wrinkles. The Dolphins already have tinkered with new zone defensive schemes.[/intro]

"Sometimes you can make a decision about whether something is good or not before you put the pads on," Wannstedt said. "These next two camps will give us a chance to look at it and see if it's worth carrying into training camp."

Wannstedt also believes the offense should have its best work now that its wide receiver corps is healthier. Chris Chambers (ankle), Oronde Gadsden (shoulder) and Dedric Ward (foot) are expected to practice on at least a limited basis.

"This camp will make a big difference because Chambers and Oronde will be out there and Dedric will be doing more than he's done," Wannstedt said. "We'll be pretty close to full speed."
