Minkah Fitzpatrick Trademarks ”fitzmagic”

So I won a Dolphins jersey of my choice on a bet on this weekend's game against a good friend who is a lifelong Jets fan (I live in NY and he bullied me into the bet cause he was convinced it was a sure Jets win). After the game he asks me what jersey do I want and I immediately say Fitzpatrick throwback jersey. He goes to nflshop.com and no Fitzpatrick throwback (he said literally every other Phins player is available) - he tries to customize a #29 Fitzpatrick but it won't allow the whole name to be entered when he spells it out. He actually calls them and is told "I'm sorry but Mr. Fitzpatrick has not authorized his name for the throwback jersey. Hmmm Then this whole fitzmagic thing and I am thinking maybe this is another "me first" player and potential problem down the road.
But when I read that the whole Fitzmagic thing has been with him since high school and then see all this Ryan Fitzpatrick mania (and believe me I do find it entertaining as hell) I kinda get it. I think he is a really driven young man with a good head on his shoulders. I have no problem with that as long as he becomes a great teammate, a strong and positive presence in the locker room and a leader on the field. And if his potential is truly recognized, please stay in Miami Minkah!!
All that being said, I had my friend buy me a Drake throwback. I just can't stand the current jerseys lol.

Minkah Fitzpatrick is the best thing to happen to this organization since signing Cameron Wake in 2009.

Also for the record I just think Minkah exudes all the qualities that you would ever want from a football player.
Similar to Cam, they conduct themselves with the upmost professionalism and display integrity as if it hasn’t gone out of style. I appreciate that because its actually rare nowadays among the younger demographic. Combine that with a dedication to the game and commitment to excellence along with freakish athleticism and you have yourself another cornerstone of your franchise for the next decade plus.
