His best fit is at the line of scrimmage where he can free lance some, I believe no player moving forward will diagnose plays better due to his study habits. He is an excellent tackler - run stopper, can blitz, has excellent coverage skill's to stop running backs out on short passes or cover Y or Z tight ends. He can also play safety in 2 back alignment half/half

Minkah Fitzpatrick should be our strong safety, he would excel here and become one of the best in the NFL.

Grier hanging on to Jones another year is a waist, if there is the possibility to move him even if were paying some of the contract and not exactly getting what we want in return as long as the player we trade for has an expiring contract and give us another 3rd compensatory pick we should do it. I'm not saying for nothing but a guard or defensive end we could use for a year or two.

He's either a slot corner or FS. Those are easily his 2 best positions. He can play some boundary corner, but not as well as the other two. I would hate to think we spent a high pick on a slot corner. Stick him at FS and let him sink or swim. I must say, last year in his games at FS, he did struggle. Still though, I think thats where he needs to be long term.

I think he could excel at free or strong safety. Strong is probably the easier move for him since he’s used to playing closer to the line of scrimmage and he’s a good tackler.

Just want to see him on the field more often and more than just in the nickel.

I think he can play all those positions, FS he is in on 20-30% (Guess) of play's, if you use him as slot CB all the other team has to do is play base and he is sitting on the side lines. Place he is in on 80-90% of the play's is at SS, and why wouldn't you want you best defender in on all those play's.

His range at the position is undeniable and he’s not exactly a thumper. FS is a more valuable position too and he has great ball skills. Not to mention we have Reshad and TJ for SS. No brainer to me.

As of right now, we can basically ask who plays LE, RE, DT, #2 CB, RG, LG, C, #2 TE... The Fins are tanking, who plays FS in 2019 is literally insignificant...

Im not arguing that. I am arguing where Minkah is best fit and what is best for the Dolphins long term. We already know neither Reshad or TJ should be playing free.
