Misconception (3-4 vs 4-3)

I have been reading many post and something keeps coming up, fans want to continue the idea that '06 will be the year that this defense will lineup regularly in the "3-4" I just want to say that if you watch(I have all 9 wins) miami played easily 75% 3-4 on first and second down.
So the notion that this year will officially become the year where the team plays a great percentage of 3-4 is false.

I believe it is a hybrid system that thrives off of personell and not a scheme.

Seems to be depth friendly and extremely diverse.

we played about 30-40% of all snaps last year in a strict 3-4 We spent about 50% of it in a hybrid 4-3. In the hybrid Jason lines up as the OE and causes the havoc... also most of the blitz packeages are out of the 3-4...

You can expect more 3-4 this year due to 2 facts...

1. Dom capers created the "blitzburg defense"
2. Jason taylors progession was reduced by his plantar facitus injury that impeded his ability to drop into coverage. Until we get a threat from the strongside jason will never fully be free to make plays...
