This smells suspiciously like a Master Troll-lite "adventure" to me :idk:

Wallace , Livas, Gates, Edds ,Wilson ,Saap made plays , Our starting D gave up a lot of runs down the middle. That was troubling , Right now I see Sheets as the odd man out in the RB competition. Gotta keep Livas the guy is instant excitement with the ball in his hands!

i noticed our first-string d-line was playing half-speed a few plays. wake and soliai were looking around like it was a barbecue.

solia doesn't look like a 10 million a year player
baker stood out to me for some reason..

You go out in yard with a buddy, no run the same route as Anthony and try to catch a ball behind you off your left shoulder while breaking left. The pass was awful, ten yards and he cant lead a receiver. Watch the tape again and you will see how hard it to catch a poorly thrown ball like that.

What are you talking about? Henne threw it right between his numbers. That's not a hard catch in the slightest sense. He turns around and it hits him in his hands. The logical question is why did Henne have so much heat on a 5 yard pass? But nonetheless, its not a hard catch.

Thank you! Also if you notice there is a guy coming right up in his face. The RB chips him, but if Henne doesn't fire it right there he will probably be sacked.

Nothing more than my boiling over frustration my friend.

You can't troll and use Chad Henne and positive production as the foundation. That **** will get called out quick.

We're in regular season form ... didn't even need the pre-season. Sparano prepared for the season-opener & it showed, its like last season was just last Sunday. Like the off-season never happened.

to be fair, I don't think the first INT was his fault. It was not a good pass to Fasano, but Fasano got both hands on the ball and tipped it to the defender. The rule always is if the receiver gets his hands on the ball, it should be a catch.

The other one was on him, but was a nice play by the Falcons D. Again though, if Henne put a little touch on the ball, that's a catch by Bess.

If you are going to look at the bad, you have to look at the good as well. His TD to Hartline was a great pass. He also threw only 8 passes completing 4 with 2 INTs; 1 his fault, 1 not really his fault.

There is more spreading the ball out though.

Contrary to the popular opinion, I think Henne did fine. He looked decisive and nimble out there. Showing improvisation when eluding pressure as well. The first pass was not on him, albeit it wasn't that good of ball placement. The second one was supposed to be a little pivot route with Bess, but Bess glided upfield after doing the pivot. If you watch the replay, Henne is about to fire the ball at about 5 yards and hitches and lets it go. Its on both of them. The wrong route caused Henne to hitch his throw, and Henne followed it up with a dumb decision.

Someone tell me a play yesterday where Henne didn't display good "pocket presence". The guy held his own in the pocket last night.

Henne keeps staring down his recievers, and he seems to have issues with the zone defense , I think they gotta let Moore play with the starters to see what he can do.

oh I'm not saying Henne played poorly. I feel that a lot of people just look at the box score and see 4-8 1 TD, and 2 INTs and just assume Henne made bad decisions. The 2nd one, to me, I just feel Henne needed touch as he had Bess. But the pass was line drive.

The TD to Hartline was a thing of beauty though and the play was nicely set up. I know we took a few shots down field last year, but all of our downfield passes seemed long developing, and that one developed pretty quickly.

For the first unit my goal was to see everybody come out healthy.

Not too worried about the D. Not thrilled by some of the effort, but again would rather everybody be healthy.

Edds and Wilson looked good. Not getting my hopes up too much (still preseason) but for various reasons have to feel good for both guys. I think Edds will be huge for us this year though.

Livas has probably locked up a roster spot by showing he can score.

Look, Henne played poorly...plain and simple. He looked like the same guy we've watched for 3 years. He makes 2 bad plays and makes one good one......same old same old.
He was so bad it was apparent that long after Ryan left the game, Henne stayed in just because Sparano wanted Henne to do something positive before he was pulled. Had it not been for the broken coverage and the wide open Hartline on the bomb we would be completely tearing Henne apart today.

Moore looked good and I am anxious to see more, the only negative play was the bomb, but he still hit the receiver in the hands, the receiver failed to make the catch and the ball popped up in the air for the lucky interception.

The O-line needs work and the return of Long, the defense will get better with reps...I am not overly concerned with them yet...its early.

Liked the deep speed of Gates, the kick returning of Livas, I think he has a job.

Devlin is far from ready to lead an NFL team.
