Post what you would do or what you think the team will do in FA and the #1 pick it will lead to in the draft?

For example, we keep Grimes. sign a FA CB and draft a DE or we sign OV, keep Wake in addition and draft a LB.

Thx So Be. While they are the rankings, QB starved teams (and there are lots of them) will Draft QBs higher than their perceived value because they are desperate.

I hope free agency allows us to target the best lb or cb in draft with the first pick. We desperately need a stud playmaker at linebacker be it inside or out. We certainly have other needs but that 1 has to ball.

Its a little hard to say based on who we actually are able to sign and keep during FA.

Sign OL help in FA if possible. I dont think were going to get much else in FA after the good players are resigned by their respective teams etc. we might actually have somewhat of a quite FA period this time around.

I wanted to go CB on draft wheather Grimes stays or not but Hoops and others convinced me to get on board with Jack if we go LB at 8, not on board for any other LB at 8.

If we could go CB round one and LB round two think that could work but could leave a big whole Dline depending how thngs work out. Its a little hard to figure out with two many variables this early.

You may be right about Jack but I can still see us drafting the best CB on the board.

Right now, I'm feeling A'Shawn Robinson in R1 to pair with N. Suh. I just think that will move this team toward the "stronger, tougher, more physical" mantra the front office is looking for. Like a lot of the linebackers in R1 including Jaylon Smith, Miles Jack and Reggie Ragland. I expect Jack to be off the board and maybe Smith as well.

I'd look for a middle linebacker in the draft, maybe round 2. Also, would concentrate on corner and offensive line.

As far as free agency goes, I wouldn't break the bank. I'd look for a serviceable starter at corner, but concentrate or re-signing Vernon and Miller.

Need to see what we can get for the OL in FA.

I'd say go CB, LB, DL in the first three rounds, whichever position has the BPA at our picks. I wouldn't mind Matakevich in round 3 if he falls that far.

My hope is that Miami signs at least one solid veteran OG to help stabilize the O Line.

Couple that with finding a way to keep Vernon(pay him) AND Wake(restructure) and then go into the Draft looking for LB's and CB's.

any of those guys top 8 could fill a position of need. If they reach on someone I'll be pissed lol

Free agency-

1. Guard. First priority of offseason
2. Db (mid / upper tier guy.. My choice.. Janoris Jenkins)

Draft-

Myles Jack / Jaylon Smith

Sort of like what the Dolphins did a few years ago...Sorry I couldn't resist.

I really like Robinson, but I don't see us drafting a DT in first few rounds. I expect us to draft best available CB/LB and pairing suh with Phillips and find a replacement for Mitchell in free agency.

True. I just posted to let others see the top players in the draft. Notice how close the grades are. There are many graded within a point or 2 of each other.
