alright who do you vote for to start in the all-star game? here's mine:

NL starters:

SP - D.Willis
C - P. Lo Duca
1B - D.Lee
2B - J.Kent
3B - S.Rolen
SS - C.Izturis
OF - C.Beltran, M.Cabrera, J.Edmonds

AL starters:

SP - J.Garland
C - I.Rodriguez
1B - T.Martinez
2B - B.Roberts
3B - A.Rodriguez
SS - M.Tejada
OF - M.Ramirez, I.Suzuki, V.Guerrero
DH - D.Ortiz

what do you think?

what about this thing with Mike Piazza being ahead of Paul Lo Duca on the all-star ballets? Duca has better stats all accross the board in everything other then HRs, he even has better fielding stats. I guess more people just know his name :shakeno: same thing with D.Lee and A.Pujols :shakeno:

Mark Teixeira SHOULD be starting at 1st for the AL. I believe he has closed the gap on "BamTINO's" lead.

I also believe Buehrle will get the starting nod over his teammate Jon Garland.

Mike Piazza will forever live on his name and continue to get in/win. FAns are stupid, its never gonna end.

Piazza and Grant Hill should be buddies (grant earned it this year, but half of his all-star nods were while he was hurt)

The skipper gets to pick, and Tony LaRussa will probably pick one of his boys unfortunately.
thats BS :yell:

The All-Star game is complete joke. Nomar led all NL SS's for a while if I remember correctly.

The fact that Selig has placed ANY meaning in this game, by giving the winning side homefield in the World Series, is just ridiculous.

Varitek is leading Rodriguez right now, by quite a large margin too

Yeah that was my bad, I missed your links in the previous post.

For all you Marlins fans though... Miguel Cabrera is such an unbelievable talent. I thought he would win the NL MVP this year and he still very well could. IMO he's gonna be one of the games best players for a very long time. It will be good to see him in the All Star game this year.

hopefully he will be starting but he currently will not be

You want a traveshamockery? Piazza will start. Garciaparra was almost voted in. Griffey will be. Carlos Delgado is behind Bagwell, Mientkiewicz, and Choi. Castillo is not in the top 5. LOOK AT THE NUMBERS, PEOPLE!
