How can you have Tony Gwynn, and Cal Ripken Jr going into the hall, and the Padres, and other teams playing ball while it's going on!:tantrum:I just think this is awful planning on there part.
Bro I am not saying to not play ball on the day, I am saying not to play during the ceremony, that's all.:wink:Why? Its tradition. I see no problem, and actually I find it a wonderful tribute to play the games on the same day as an honor to those being enshrined. Its been this way for a long time, and its a great day. I guarantee if you asked Ripken and Gwynn they would agree and wouldnt want it any other way.
Play Ball!
Ripken Most overrated athelete ever

Bro it is not like the Hall Of Fame Induction is something new. The schedule could of been set to play ball after it was done to pay it's respects to these great ball players. I am not a fan of Selig as the Commissioner.:wink:Ahhhhh......nevermind!:D
Actually, the schedule is set long before the vote takes place, correct...so unless the commish adjusts the schedule I dont see how you avoid it, or how you blame Selig for this issue.
But I better understand your point.
FFIC why do always put one of these  at the end of all your posts? Just wondering.Bro it is not like the Hall Of Fame Induction is something new.
