Hi all,
First off, this was my first NFL game and Dolphins game. I live in Utah, and come from a Raiders family, so this a very sweet treat. We flew out Monday morning, and came back late Tuesday night. 6 hours each way, 12 hours in transit in two days...totally worth every minute.
What a game to go to! That was just awesome! I had a complete blast! It was awesome to be there with my wife, and all those Dolphins fans in one place! I can't describe how happy I was there.
I don't claim to be a professional photographer, and we don't have a super special camera, but I thought that I would share with everyone. We had front row seats, 50 yard line.
Here's some of my thoughts:
Thanks to all who helped with my questions about where to get autographs, where to park, etc. It really helped.
I am definitely going to rent a GPS next time with our car rental, we broke the world record for U turns.
I thought that just being on the outside of the stadium was awesome, but when you go into the stadium, the feeling is pure joy!
I'm not sure if it was MNF, or if it was because of the Jets being in town, but those who say that the crowd isn't loud or the seats aren't filled are full of it. That place was rocking the entire game! Heck, even after the game in the circular ramps it was deafening! (to the tune of J-E-T-S, suck, suck, suck!).
To those who are thinking of sitting on the front row and worry about not seeing over the players, not true at all. Worth every penny!
I think that more NFL players should put their hands on their hearts during the national anthem.
Seeing the wildcat in real life is about 10 times more fun than watching it on TV.
I wasn't at all excited about the orange jerseys, but by the end of the night I was quite fond of them.
How many times did they show J Lo on the jumbotron?
Great to see the long ball back in Miami. We kept whispering under our breaths, "push it downfield...," and when Henne let that one go to Ginn, it was just amazing!
The players didn’t get out of their cars to sign autographs, but Tony Sparano did. He’s a man of few words. Even on a night after winning, he didn’t say much, but he did sign my ball!
The pic of Sean Smith is right after we yelled “Utah!” He then smiled for the camera.
Man, those guys are big and fast!
Without further ado:
(I couldn't figure out how to post in the body of the post, maybe not enough posts...)
Edit: Oh shoot, I deleted some of the pictures from the first and second posts, I believe that I went over on my size limit. Posts 7 and 8 still have some pictures though...darn...
