Al Michaels and Joe Theisman are the team ESPN will use. Michele Toyofa and Suzy Kolber on the sidelines.

Patrick and McGuire are OUT after this year!

NBC still has one opening left for play by play then all of this will be done and settled. Odds are it will be Marv Albert who will work aside John Madden.

What this means is that Al Michales took the ESPN/ABC deal which gives him use of a private jet and a whole lot of money over the NBC deal which would have let him call NFL playoff games, Super Bowls, and work the Olympics ...(but no private jet).

In fact, I loved the whole Sunday Night crew, and I'm going to miss Mike Patrick.

CBS should pick him up. McGuire would be their best analyst cuz Simms is brutal.

Simms is OK, but he shouldn't be on the "A" team. He is a "B" team or "C" team type of guy. McGuire in that booth would maybe get some personality out of Phil.

I dont like Theisman either but that leg was nasty. Dont think I would wish that on anyone.........well, not anyone in football anyway.

I would be happy if CBS hired McGuire as the #1 analyst and moved Simms to the number 2 or 3 team. Right now the CBS #2 team is who? Enberg and Dierdorf?
