Trekbiz said:Well on one side I'd think that there's always 2 sides to a story. Maybe he was a victim but maybe he himself has a big mouth and started the whole incident. Who really knows.
Then looking at the other side of the coin, the only thing that would shock me less than seeing "Man beaten outside NY stadium" would be "Man beaten outside Philadelphia stadium". Point being, it would'nt shock me at all if this is true taking into consideration all the NY anything fans I've met.

“I thought if I kept my head down, I would be fine,” recalled the software salesman.
Donaghey said four men were waiting outside, and one of them punched him in the face, turned to the others and yelled “Let’s get him!” The ****eyed crowd quickly grew to about 20 people, he said.

He was supposedly attacked by 20 people, yet he claims to have stayed on his feet.
The language in the article is extremely inflammatory. This includes using the terms "New York stadium" and New York fans." Yes, Buffalo is in New York, but the writer simply did this to create a connection to NYC, with whom New Englanders have a severe inferiority complex and hatred for.
The picture taken of him and his wife was outside a church.
So, in conclusion, I'm going to have to say that this article was pretty one-sided.
