RD 1 - Levi Brown - LT- Penn St. -Should solve our LT problem for years.
RD 2 - Justin Blaylock - G - Texas - Sears is gone and Blaylock is a great run blocker.
RD 2 - Drew Stanton - QB - Mich. St. - Hopefully the QB of our future.
RD 3 - Johnnie Lee Higgins - WR - UTEP - Great speed with a ton of upside.
RD 4 - Kenny Scott - CB - Georgia Tech - 6'1 cb with speed.Up against Calvin Johnson everyday in practice.That's not bad training.
RD 6 - Derek Landry - DT - Notre Dame - Had a great senior season. High energy guy
RD 6 - C.J. Gandis - FS - Clemson - 5 int. , forced 4 fumbles , blk 2 kicks , 113 tackles
RD 7 - Ahmad Bradshaw - RB - Marshall - Small Travis Minor type runner
RD 7 - Desmond Bishop - ILB - Calif. - Good against the run(spec. teams)


After Ted Ginn works out Thursday and blows the doors off everybody , I will probably be re doing this with him the first pick at 9 . We'll see . thanks for your comments.
 
not bad, i donno about johnnie lee higgins in the third round , there should be some better available people.i think that kenny scott will be one of the biggest steals in the draft IF he can get over his behavior problems.
 
After the 1st pick its really good..Nice job and that would be some solid picks.

Levi imo isnt a LT.

I agree with you, dont think Brown is an elite LT prospect. More like a dominant RT. Similar to the Vernon Carey pick.
 
I also concur on the Levi Brown comment. We are not alone, a lot of teams have cooled on Brown and I think that Miami is one of those teams.

I liked the mock though...
 
Just last week, Gil Brandt moved Levi Brown into his Top Ten. And I haven't seen anything other than that recently, so I don't know where this idea of Brown cooling is coming from. And I haven't seen a single comparison to Vernon Carey other than inside the threads on this message board.

I believe the Fins will select Levi Brown with 9th overall pick, and he will be our starting LT for many years to come.

I don't think the Fins will pass on Drew Stanton if he is still on the board at #40.

And I think the Fins will draft Samson Satele, Dustin Fry, or Doug Datish and move Hadnot back to Guard.

I would not be surprised at all if the Fins draft Johnnie Lee Higgins, Kenny Scott, and C.J. Gaddis. Those would all be great picks.

But I don't see us drafting Derek Landri with Rod Wright and Fred Evans already on the roster. Ahmad Bradshaw is not a good fit for the Zampese offense. And Desmond Bishop is probably too slow for Mueller.

Ted Ginn is a possibility, but only if we can trade down and Levi Brown is off the board.

i like it, except the dt in the 6th,,,i hope we already have the dt covered with players currently on the roster,,,nice mock though
