1st- I think ILB and DB are our biggest needs, so Ill post a top 3 selection.... 1) Rey Maulaluga - i doubt he falls this far but it's possible after a poor senior bowl, maybe he does slip. 2) Brian Cushing will probably be taken before this too, but he can play ILB or OLB in our system and greatly increases the talent in our LB corp. 3) Duke Robinson putting him on the left would mkae our Oline much more formidable..
I'll say we end up with Cushing..e

2a - Sean Smith adds height to our secondary, he'll be covering Moss, Andre Johnson, Lee Evans, Wayne, all those big #1 receivers that we want so bad. If Hakeem Nicks or Heyward Bey fall here than they could be other options. Looking at Ron Brace here must be considered if he's even available.. He can also be our FS is R. Hill is not resigned.

2b - Eric Wood is arguably the best center comming out of the draft. He held his own against Bj Ragi, the Boss of the draft class.. Mack did too, but we aren't drafting him in the first round, and he wont be available with our 2a pick, those top 12 pick teams need 1st round linemen in the early 2nd round..

3 - Ramses Barden is a large man, 6'6 230 and he's got ups too. If he can become a physical WR like Owens then he could get open alot, because he's not the fastest man out there.. He'd be an upgrade over Joey Haynos or Wilford as a redzone target.

4 - Joe Burnett is a playmaking CB with decent size. He's got great ball skills and can also return punts or kickoffs. He'd compete with Goodman as the no.2 CB and will be used in nickel and dime unless Culver or jason Allen lock that spot up.. Either way he adds solid depth but can contribute in many other ways too..

5 - Sammie Lee Hill is a NT from a small school. He collected a ridiculous amount of TFL and tackles in the trenches. At 6'4 330, he'd be a large run stuffer that can learn from Fergy this year. Soliai will get another chance this year, but if he doesn't realize his potential he's gone.. I wouldn't mind having 3 NT's on the roster..

I'd love a steal or two out of the 7th round, but it's gonna be unsexy picks like STeamers and depth along the Oline..

i like the idea of patching up the line, a lot. but i think go mack IMO best center in the draft in the first or second and guard later. because we have a few depth guards and i think that mack would move satele to c depth/guard. i think a center helps the team because it gives us more, a center and allows us to make satele a guard. i would love to get mack at 44, or get wood at 56 and wait until later in the draft for some line depth. i think we can make one early pick help our line at multiple positions. not that duke isnt good, he is and would be a solid pick, but i think center is more valuable because of carey and satele's versitability

Target big guys in the trenches early, like Robinson or Mack, and trade late round picks for guys who are underutilized and undervalued by their current teams (i.e. Anthony Fasano).

Time to dip into the Dallas well again and swoop up Bobby Carpenter!
