1-Levi Brown OT
2- Ryan Kalil C USC
3- Earl Everett olb florida gators!
4- Marcus Thomas dt florida gators!
5- David ball wr
7- Ryan Smith cb florida Gators!

Infuses our oline with young talent, a starting linebacker, possible stud at dt, and wes welker clone if gone, and possible nickle/dime cb.

I like that value and players in this mock except we don't have a fifth round and do have a sixth round.

Are you guys sold on Everett as a pro? I loved him at UF, but something about him tells me his game isn't going to transition that well to the next level. He is a fairly sure tackler and possesses good speed for a LB, but I don't know...it seemed like he wasn't that good at shedding blocks or blitzing, which I consider to be more important for an OLB in the NFL. Again, this is just from watching the games, mostly in person, so it's not like I've reviewed game film and focused on him exclusively.

Main problem is that they didn't use him for blitzing much at Florida. He was mainly a coverage LB and a pretty good one IMO. Problem is we need a a blitzing LB for the Fins, maybe a hybrid type like a Gaines Adams or even a Jarvis Moss.

ya its either goin to be adams, moss, RISK IT and wait for Moses round 2, anderson, or a L brown/Ginn depending on FA.

he wont be a good fit in the 3-4 system but he will be a solid pro yes.

He is better for the 4-3 but he will be a 2nd or 3rd rounder most likely.

I couldnt complain with that draft even if it had alot of UF player

Yes, he was definitely impressive in coverage.

The need for a young pass-rushing LB is what makes me partial to Gaines Adams with the first pick, but the DE/OLB hybrid position seems deep this year. Carriker, Adams, Moses, Moss, Crowder, Spencer, and Woodley all seem to fit the bill. Moss would have made for a great second round pick, but after the Championship game and the combine I'm afraid his stock will have risen much too high for that to be a possibility.

thats actually the best draft ive seen. Levi Brown takes care of an OL need...Ryan Kalil takes care of C...Earl Everett is a solid OLB...David Ball is a solid WR...Marcus Thomas is a 1st round talent, but his past issues pushed him back. all i know is, i really want Mason Crosby in the 3rd.
