They have us selecting sixteenth and taking Omar Jacobs. I'm not sure if I agree with that for a number of reasons:
A) I think there might be a better QB on the board.
B) We might not even take a QB with the first pick.
However, because this is the first mock draft I see that doesn't have us picking first overall, I give it a little more credibility. Picking 16 is literally the middle of the pack, so around an 8-8 season, which is where I believe we're headed.

I dont think we go QB in the first, its not really Randy's style. He looks for the more unheralded players that could become solid starters, and I think that could continue this year. I think we'll go QB in the 3rd or so (looking for a guy like the Falcons found with Matt Schaub). I think its also possible that if we have multiple 7th rounders, another guy could be drafted as well....

I would love to get Brady Quinn, and I don't think he'd be a first rounder this year. Then again, if he's not a first rounder he probably wouldn't declare just yet. I prefer to go OL or DB in the first round.

Is Vince Young a Jr. or Sr.? Anyways, i didn't see him in his Mock Draft and i'm pretty sure Young will be selected before Jacobs.

I would think so too but I'm pretty sure he's a junior.

I agree. I would actually be shocked if we took a QB any higher than the 2nd. BTW guys, if you want to check out a lot of mock drafts, footballsfuture.com has a lot of them, including a few player profiles and such.

i say we are taking brodie croyle in the 2nd or 3rd round

I don't think Mueller will have to much to do with who we draft. Saban will probably especially this year handle the draft and get the players for his system.

I disagree. Brady broke all kinds of records yesterday on top of that he has every thing you look for on a qb. He would have to be imo at least the 2nd qb taken. He's 6-5 200 plus and can really put something on the ball not to mention accurate.

Double edged sword here. I think Quinn will be an outstanding pro QB. Has all the right tools, seems to be very bright, and makes decisions quickly. Heck of an arm... However, do we really want anybody named BRADY?!?!

mario williams and ahmad brooks have been disappointing this year, i doubt they'll still be top 10 picks

We will take a QB and I wouldn't put it past Nick and the guys to do what it takes to get the right guy in that round. and i think we need to get a deep threat receiver. I think Booker and some of the other receivers will be gone next year to bring in garentee clutch receivers and i see us going young in the draft on defence. OLB, CB, FS, and DT.

There has been a lot of talk that Vince Young will do just as Matt Leinart did, he will return for his senior season. I also heard the announcers of the Texas game yesterday say that Vince Young is playing way above the college level and is ready to make his start in the NFL. Vince Young will wait until the last day to declare until he lets us know his decision.

Who cares what hes named as long as hes good I'm all for it!
Yeah I see us picking around the top 16, i doubt that Jacobs would slide that far down.
