I know a lot of people here created a mock draft. I don't really want to expend the effort to grade everyone else's mock...so I'll let you do it yourself!

That was my final mock draft.

The Huddle Report's scoring is as follows: You get 1 point for every player that was drafted in the first round, that you had being drafted in the first round. You get an additional 2 points for every player you had going to the correct TEAM.

On that basis, my score is either 44 or 46 points. The reason I say either is because ever since the very first iteration of my mock draft, I had the Jets trading up to #8 to take Mark Sanchez. I had it written that way in my explanation every time. I believe I should be given 46 points. If I knew the exact rules of the scoring before I did the mock I would have had Sanchez going #17 to the Jets.

On that basis, I would have tied with Todd McShay for #4 of 98. This is ahead of Rick Gosselin, ahead Al Fronczak, ahead of every famous or semi-famous draftnik except for Michael Abromowitz.

The very first iteration of my mock, by the way, would have scored me 36 points, which would have put me in the middle of the pack. My second iteration would have scored me somewhere close to 46 points although I'm not sure exactly what, maybe more than 46 points truth be told. So, I do not think my 46 points is just some fluke.

What did you guys score? I know y'all did a bunch of mock drafts! I'm willing to bet FH has at least one person here who would have taken first prize in The Huddle Report's ranking with 50+ points.

Evidently THR didn't grade Mike Mayock. He would have gotten a 47, slightly edging me out by one point. *******!

I don't see how they come up with 48 for Michael Abromowitz, I only see 28...and that is counting two picks that were for the right teams...but in the second round (Like NE getting Butler...)

Edit: Oh...is it 1 point for just guessing who will go in the first...not in the first AND the correct position? The statement "Mocks are scored 1 point for each player correctly placed in round" is missleading....That will make my score A LOT better...

That will give me 40!!! Not bad, if I do say so myself...and I do...

1 point for the correct round. An additional 2 points for every pick you matched to the right team. That's how mine is 46 points. I verified the scoring system against Gosselin's final mock and I did indeed come up with 43 points as they say.

Sorry to bump this old thread but does anyone know if that huddlereport site is going to be doing this again this year???
