Mock draft season is here!

I love Buckner but most people aren't as high on him as I am. He's nothing like Dion, people need to move past that.

After combine I wouldnt be surprised if he surpasses Bosa in the mocks and even the draft.

Thanks bro. I was just asking about the comparison because I didn't know.

Buckner is more Calais Campbell but would most likely play the Cameron Jordan or Carlos Dunlap(not as athletic) role in our 4-3.; would have to move him inside on 3rd downs. Really interested to see how quick he looks.

He kicked inside at Oregon, but I think it was mostly against weaker olines. At least with the games I've watched that now I saw it.

Would we draft another high draft pick from Oredgo? Is Buckner that good and a different player than Jordan?

Well don't draft Joey Bosa because Vernon Gholston was a bust. Don't draft Jaylon Smith because Notre Dame LB's traditionally have imaginary girl friends. Don't draft Ezekiel Elliot because Bennie Wells was a bust and Carlos Hyde is injury prone.

As you can tell. This line of thinking drives me nuts !

Oh and don't ever draft a Jeff Tedford system quarterback. Instead draft a back up running back #2 overall because he had a great combine.

Jack is my number one target, been that way since last year, although at the time I did not think our record would be as bad as it was to have the shot to get him. But we are gonna have to hope that the injury and the inability to fully participate in workouts/combine improves our chances to get him.

Ramsey would of been ideal, but I would welcome Hargreaves in a second.

Stanley, I am passing man, another soft lineman that plays a position that we are set on . . . Too many impact guys on defense there, on a team that needs six.

Curious to see how Buckner measures. When I watched him, I was very disappointed in his hand usage, and he does this weird thing, where instead of reaching the O-lineman, he slams his shoulder into them - like someone breaking down a door. That's correctable, but it doesn't make me like his football IQ, and if he tried it in the NFL, O-linemen will just toss him on the ground. So, for me to even consider him at 8, he'd have to show huge upside - talking long arms, and great explosion for a guy his size. I don't think he'll test THAT well, but who knows?

Going to be really disappointed if its Stanley, guess some of it will be predicated on what if anything we can accomplish in FA.

I just want one of either Hargreaves Ramsey, Jack, or Smith. If all 4 are gone then trade back unless you see Marino starring back at you in one of those QBs.

Against weaker competition he definitely will rely completely on his superior physical ability to move guys out of his way. Against Conklin that got him in trouble, otherwise it really didn't effect him in any games I saw.

But yeah, combine is big for him, I think he tests very well for a guy his size, not to mention he's a workhorse. I think he played more snaps than any defender in the nation. (don't quote me on that, but I know he played a lot of snaps.)
