moves i think we need to make to be a decent team. We gutted out to with the recent cuts so we will need so go FA and Draft picks to have a successful year.
FA:
WR: Bryant Johnson or Javon Walker (soon to be cut)
O-line: Have to get someone (Faneca, Starks)
QB: Grossman or Josh McCown
DT Corey Williams

Trades:
Trade number 1 pick to Dallas for #22, #28, #59 and Marcus Spears
or even #1 to Altanta for #3-4 and 2nd rounder and then if McFadden is there try the Dallas trade.

Trade 2nd round from SD for Roy Williams and maybe Shawn Rogers OR
for Chad Johnson

Draft:
1 (Dal) Jeff Otah
1 (Dal) Roger-Cromartie
2 (Mia) Pat Sims or Dan Connor (If there)
2 (Atl) James Hardy
2 (SD) (Trade for WR)
2 (Dal) Martellus Bennett
3 (Mia) Beau Bell
4 (Mia) Joe Flacco or best QB
6 (Mia) Depth at line or secondary
7 (Mia) Depth at line WR or secondary

I know alot of you guys have Flacco as a 2nd rounder but that is way too high. i his stock has kind of fallen a bit.
Joe Flacco, Delaware
Height: 6-6. Weight: 232.
40 Time: 4.86.
Projected Round: 4.

Joe Flacco's draft stock has dipped a bit in the wake of a sluggish week of Senior Bowl practices.

Not the best mobility in the world, but Flacco was poised enough to lead his team to the Division 1-AA Championship.

After a slow start to his first full year as a starter, Joe Flacco heated up, throwing for at least 290 yards six times the last eight weeks of the 2006 season. Finished with 2,783 yards, 18 TDs and 10 INTs. Definitely doesn't lack the size NFL teams are looking for in a quarterback.

QB: Beck Grossman Flacco
RB: Brown Williams Booker
FB: Mauia
WR: C. Johnson, Ted Ginn, B. Johnson, Hagan
TE: Bennett, Martin
OT: Otah
OG:hadnot
C Satele
OG:lekerererer, liwenski (FA if Possible)
OT: Carey

DE Spears
NT Corey Willimas/Pat Sims (if Drafted)
DE Roth/Holliday
OLB: Porter
MLB: Bell
MLB: Thomas/Crowder
OLB: Taylor/Connor (if drafted)
CB: Cromartie Allen
SS: Bell
FS: Allen

This team looks respectable. It will take 2 years i think to become a good team (playoffs) instead of at least a respectable team.

Still too early.

Is lekerererer any good? I know he was garbage in Oakland and I believe he "played" in SD.

Why would Dallas trade three picks and a key defensive player? That and other things make me think you've been smoking the ganja weed.

well if you have been on this planet for the last few weeks you would know that jones is in love with McFadden and you would also know that Spears and carpenter is on the trading block, so there for not a key part of their defense.

If I had to guess right now (and got some of the players I'm rooting for) the roster/work in progress would look like this:

QB Beck, Green (resigned cheap), Flacco
RB Brown, Williams, Booker
FB Mauia
WR Chad Johnson or Roy Williams, Ginn, Keyshawn, draft pick
TE Fred Davis, Peele
LT not sure
LG Alan Feneca
C Satele
RG Hadnot
RT Carey

RE Taylor
DT free agent
DT draft pick assuming 4-3 defense
LE Chris LONG Baby yeah!!
OLB Porter, Crowder
MLB Thomas, free agent
CB Trufant, Allen, draft pick, Lehan
FS Allen/Hill
SS Bell

It's still so early and there are so many possible ways to go- most all of them in the right direction. It will just depend on how the draft goes. Parcells and company seem to do pretty well taking the best available talent on their picks and working the system around them.

I bet they also find 2 or 3 key free agents before the draft and that will determine their game plan going into the draft. I also bet we don't trade our first overall until shortly before the draft if we even do trade it.

I like most of the last oust with the cheaper exception being take whale from Carolina insyeah of faneca. Less money same age and comp
skills

Im sorry but no part of me wants Grossman at any price. If he is to be backup then re sign Green to a smaller contract and let him develop Beck from the backup spot. Grossman is a headless chicken for me and wouldnt develop Beck. Therefor if Beck is your QB and you need a backup, get one that will help not one you dread walking onto the field.

We have a QB coach for development. If we bring in another QB he should be competeing for a starting job.
