OK, go easy on me, its my first and im new to this particular section of Fin Heaven, what do you all think of this offseason?

Put 2nd round tender on Ronnie, hope someone bites.

1st- Terrance Cody/Dan Williams, NT

medium_Terrence20Cody-1.jpg

ncf_u_williams_300-1.jpg

Why- Most Important position in the 3-4, needs to demand double teams and not get pushed back, clog the up the middle run and be a force. now, Cody or Williams?

2nd- Ricky Sapp, OLB
t1_sapp-1.jpg

Why- JT+JP=OLD. Their time is coming to an end and we need replacements, Wake and Sapp would be a really nice pass rush...

2nd- Demaryius Thomas, WR
ncf_u_thomas_600-1.jpg

Why- We need weapons, simple as that. Henne shouldnt have to put up with this sad group we call Wide Recievers, Thomas is a monster of a target who was very poorly used in the NCAA and still put up good/great stats.

3rd- Toby Gehart, RB
tobygerhart-1.jpg

Why- Well, we traded Ronnie away for a second, Ricky is retiring soon, and though we have 3 other guys, i take quality over quantity all day, you can give the ball to this guy 35 times a game if need be, he is dependable. In his last two seasons, he got about 3,000 yards, 5.5 per carry, with 41 TD's. He can block and let's his game talk for its self. oh yeah, 600+ carries with no fumbles..

4th- Jimmy Graham, TE

Why- 6'8, 260 lbs., athletic freak with a 4.65 40? Huge uppside pick, parcells was scouting and if he liked what he heard/saw, i could easily see us picking him here. good hands and too big for a cb, too fast for a LB, and too tall for both of them!

6th- Myron Rolle, S

Why- A prospect at a position of need and in need of youth, maybe he surprises us...

6th- Terrel Troup, NT

We draft in 2's. Upside pick, gives us a good staple of guys

7th- Brandon James, RB/KR/PR

JamesBrandon_9771_TCasey-1.jpg

Why- Bye Bye Ginn, small, fast, quick, very dangerous return man and change of pace/catching passes out of backfield.

7th- Jon Dempsey, ILB
ncf_i_dempsey1_sw_576-1.jpg

Why- We need ILB's.

Top it off with signing Antonio Bryant and Karlos Dansby

Recieving group-A. Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Bess, Hartline

LineBackers- Ricky Sapp, Karlos Dansby, Channing Crowder, Cam Wake.

Dline- Langford, Cody/Williams, Starks, Soliai, Merling, Mcdaniel, Troupe

Any complaints/recomendations/changes?

I like it, but we could trade down and get another second instead of not resigning Ronnie. Cody could possibly fall till the second.

You did a good job addressing the team's primary needs. I love the Graham pick in the 4th and Gerhart is a nice back, but probably goes earlier than 3rd. I'd take Williams over Cody in the first simply because I think Cody is a big risk at his weight. Nice draft.

Damn this is a nice mock only probI see is Gehart wont fall to us there I would move gehart to our 2nd round pick sapp is a good choice but so is Selvie an DT might fall to us in the third a this WR group this year if filled with talent but great Mock

I don't know why Myron Rolle's name keeps popping up as a potential prospect for Miami....

He's too slow to play safety in the NFL.....even if he could he'd be a strong safety....Miami already has $50 million worth of strong safeties in Bell and Wilson...

Miami needs a free safety with speed, range, change of direction and ball skills....

#1. Rolando McClain. If he's not there, then pick Earl Thomas. I don't like OLB/DE or WR in the first round; too many of them have been busts.

Sign a NT/DT from FA.

Whats with all the love for Cody???

his size is just so unbelievably unattractive....365 lbs. is cause for concern...not for just durability, but for health reasons aswell.Dan Williams is such a better option in my opinion...

meh cody...no thank you not before the 3rd round for me...too many stamina and weight concerns for me

i'm with slimm on myron rolle...i didn't think he was much of a safety prospect before he went rhodes scholar and i don't think taking a year off improved his game...
