Miami Trades: 1st Overall Pick
Dallas Trades: 22nd Pick, 29th Pick, 59th Pick, Marion Barber

Mock Draft: Trades w/ Dallas

(1st) 22nd Pick: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB (Dallas Pick)
(1st) 29th Pick: James Hardy WR (Dallas Pick)
(2nd) 32nd Pick: Quentin Groves DE/OLB
(2nd) 48th Pick: Fred Davis TE (Marion Barber Trade To Atlanta)
(2nd) 57th Pick: Red Bryant NT/DT (Chargers Pick)
(2nd) 59th Pick: Xavier Adibi OLB/S (Dallas Pick)
(3rd) 64th Pick: Joe Flacco QB
(4th) 96th Pick: Vince Hall MLB

I can see Miami trying to trade JT & ZT for picks. Jason could get a 2nd+...ZT might get a 4th or 5th. Either way Miami will not be good for another 2 full seasons. Bill is creating the team for a deep playoff push by the end of years 3 & 4. Then he will cash in with his new company.

Also would not be surprised to see Culpepper back in Miami. Beck is no sure fire lock. The rookie they draft will sit for a full year as #3. Unless Beck just blows then maybe #2. Chris Simms & Culpepper are my Vet picks...maybe we get one of them. Then let the three fight it out for the starting position.

I see Porter and Crowder getting a season to show what they got to Big Tuna. Porter runs his mouth...Crowder has already had off the field issues. Zach is just getting old...:boohoo: We need to get some young players in for depth this season. Then see if they can start 2009+

Key Free Agent/Trade Targets: 1 or 2 from below. My primary would be A. Samuel
CB - A. Samuel * M. Trufant
FS - Ken Hamlin
DT - S. Rogers (If so, no Red Bryant in round 2...switch for Gosder Cherilus)
WR - Roy Williams * C. Johnson
LG - A. Faneca
RG - R. Hadnot
QB - D. Culpepper * C. Simms

Bring on the combine...Bring on the Dallas Trade...Bring on the NEW ERA OF MIAMI DOLPHINS FOOTBALL!!!

Sorry but Dallas will never give up that much.

In anycase we wouldn't draft a undersized TE.

Heck, don't ya think they'd throw in Romo too? I hear JJ loves him some McFadden!

u didnt say where the extra 2nd round pick came from.

switch the Cromartie pick with Phillips if he's still on board. Switch the Hardy pick with Brohm if he's still on board. Switch the #32 pick to Cromartie, should still be there.

FAs:

NT Sopoaga
WR Johnson
LT Adams
LG Lilja or Faneca

Stop smoking that thing!!
Dallas Cowboys wasn't hired Rick Spielman and no one in this draft is so good to justify such trade.
Maybe they will try to trade up with Atlanta or New England.

I think Jerry has the bug for him. There is plenty of cases in which he could wheel & deal his way into the pick. I would not be surprised if Jerry really belives that he is the next E. Smith & being part of the Next Version of the 3-Headed Monster. T. Owens does not have to many more years. If Jerry wants him...Jerry will get him.

* Trade Chart will be somewhat adjusted across the board vs. the cap of drafting in that position. This will lower the value and start the new trend Draft Position Value Chart for the next 10 years.

* The Cowbells could trade the 28nd pick & Marion Barber & Bobby Carpenter to the Bengals for the 9th pick Overall & 4th. The trade could include different picks...but it would give them more to work with having the 9th overall.

* This could be a very rare three way trade using Marion Barber, Bobby Carpenter, Chad Johnson & a lot of picks. Is it a long shot? Hell yes...lol. But if Jerry Jones wants to pull the trigger bad enough it is possible.

Miami Gets: 9th Pick, 22nd Pick & 4th Round Pick from Dallas, Chad Johnson
Miami Gives: 1st Overall Pick to Dallas, 2nd Round (59th Dallas) to Bengals for CJ.

Dallas Gets: 1st Overall Pick & 4th Rounder From Bengals
Dallas Gives: 22nd Pick, 9th Pick, 59th Pick to Miami. 28th Pick, Marion Barber & Bobby Carpenter to Bengals for 9th Pick that is traded to Miami.

Bengals Get: 28th Pick (Dallas), 59th Pick(Miami from Dallas), Marion Barber & Bobby Carpenter.
Bengals Give: (9th Pick & 4th round pick to Dallas for Marion Barber Bobby Carpenter & 28th pick), (2nd round pick for sending Chad Johnson to Miami )

I am not saying go place your bets in Vegas or nothing like that. I just think that Jerry Jones has a big ego and guys like that usually don't care how much it cost...if they want it.

The Bengals need LB's & a Solid #1 Running Back. They have issues with Chad Johnson and CJ has already said he wants out. Lewis is on a short leash...is CJ worth the headache on his last leg with a team. Trading him would put order back into the teams structure. I am not a big fan of the idea of Miami getting CJ...but we have NO WR's ready to play #1 or #2. We have a lot of holes...but we do have some good cap space to spend. There are so really good starters hitting the market. But there is NO way Miami can use FA to secure the WR's. If we go into 2008 with a core of WR's like we have Ronnie, Ricky and the rest of the guys will have NO HOLES to run into for POSITIVE YARDS.

Miami would end up with the following picks for rounds 1 & 2.
* 9th Overall - Still should be able to get either a S, CB, DE, MLB, WR, QB with the pick.
* 22nd Overall - Not a bad place to get a CB, OL, WR...
* 32nd Overall - Does not change from trade.
* 57th Overall - Does not change from trade.
* 59th Overall - Traded to Bengals for CJ.

If nothing comes of it...big deal. It's the offseason on a team that is needing a starter in most every position. You gotta be in it...to WiN iT!!! ;)

I hope we don't get Daunte again. You think we wouldv'e learned our lesson the first time around.
