Here is my first thread, and thanks to fintip, and Ricky Brown for the help.

My Ideal Mock Draft:

9: Leon Hall CB
I think Leon will be a great corner and can have an immediate impact on our defense.

40: Reggie Nelson S
Might have to trade up slightly, but not to far. Big physical ball hawk, who can shore up our secondary.

60: John Beck QB
Great smart, accurate, and mature QB to develop. Might slip beacuse of his age.

71: Brian Robinson DE/OLB
I feel in love with this guy during the combine, the eventual replacement for JT. I personally feel he could step in and play either DE, or OLB depending on what JT plays.

108: Paul Williams WR
Might have been a first round choice if not for a disappointing senior year.
Very fast, and can do some damage after the catch.

I know that you probably would not like going defense defense with our top two picks, but I feel that if we made these selection we would set our defense for years to come, and if we traded a 6th for Trent Green, I feel we would have a solid offense. I know that our draft will not go like this, but this is my ideal draft. Feel free to post your own ideal drafts if you wish...

And for the rest of the draft we go BPA. Thought, opinions, sugestions...

i can garentee you nelson will not fall past dallas in the first round

We won't pick two guys for our secondary in a row. Plus we will draft at least two olineman.

we need line man but John Beck is a great pick. i have been saying that i want miami to pick him for a while now if we cant get quinn

If we draft like that, Trent green won't come here. He'll be too afraid he'll get sacked to death! Why can't people understand that we have a desperate need at left tackle? Alabi is a 5th round pick that couldn't crack the starting lineup and beat out Mcintosh, a guy we never wanted even while he was here! Alabi might turn into this 330lb blocking machine that we're all dreaming for, but let's get back to planet Earth. We're in better shape at QUARTERBACK right now then at left tackle!!! At least Cleo started a game! Yes, Will Allen and Daniels at cornerback does not strike fear into opposing offenses but at least they've started! We need left tackles not Okoye, not Ginn, it's a bloody critical need!

I feel the plan last year was to let alabi be the understudy for mcintosh, let the man play every down and he should get better, makes no different who you put at LT you can best believe he will be under a whole lots of pressure.

The only reason why they are bringing in trent green is because they are going to pick a QB in the draft, green is smart an can teach the young fellow whereas I don't see that being daunte's strong suit.

9th No way in hell please you dont know our defensive system if you value a CB that high we are a pressure > CB system

40th LOL Nelson will be gone by pick 20 let alone 40

60th Beck is possible his stock keeps rising but really not big on him if you like him fine

71st You know we have this guy named porter that does that right? and in the 4-3 Roth sits on the other outside while holliday is in the middle with evans/traylor. I do like the kid though but moses has fallen to around here or woodley better value picks

108th he is a solid pick up there, I would like michael bush better personally.

I have no problem with defensive drafting but I rather get dline and oline before anythign else in the draft. That is where the game is won. Not secondary and WRs.

The fins defense was ranked #4 overall last year, the offense only produce 17 points a game which is why they were 6-10, they got better protection later on in the year from the o-line, most of those sacks was against c-pep who couldn't move a lick, Joey H wasn't good, but the glaring weakness to me was ronnie brown's running style, they missed ricky williams burst of energy and his ability to have defenses account for in him in their defensive plans. You make like or dislike ricky but he does make the dolphins better.
