Ok guys, I konw it is too soon to talk about this or figure out where we will be in the 1st roudn due to our up and down season and the fact taht we win big games but lose to crappy teams, it'll be tough to figure it out till come mid Dec. most likely but was wondering what you guys might think the dolphin draft would look like...in other words, a Mock draft. Btw, I didn't see anything like this on this board so if it is in the wrong place/location, I apologize.

Lets also take into consideration the following players are not Tagged and are on the market...

C. Woodson
J. Peterson
Birk
Bentley
R. Wayne
Hope
L. Neal

There have been a few already.

I'm gonna type what I'd PERSONALLY prefer, not what I think we will actually do.

Round 1: O-Line or DB. Depending on the talent left at those positions depends on who we take. If our pick # would mean us reaching for a guy in eithe rof those spots I would take AJ Hawk, LB, Ohio State in a heartbeat if he was there.
Round 2: QB, if Stanton or Quinn comes out. If not, again, O-Line or DB, whichever we didn't take in round 1, or whichever position has the more talented guy.
Round 3: WR.

I would also like to see us sign a FA QB, and I definately wouln't mind signing Reggie Wayne. I want Carr, or Brees/Rivers as a FA QB. Then, depending on who we draft, Carr/Brees/Rivers can run the team til the rookie is ready, and if we don't draft a franchise QB this year, then we DEFINATELY have to next year.

Again, this is just want I WANT to happen, not what I THINK will. Plus, its very very VERY rough, I haven't really done all the scouting and research I normally do come the offseason/late in the regular season when I have a better idea of where we will be picking. A lot could change between now and then.
 
Can Indy afford to keep Wayne, i do not want Birk too old id rather have bentley

My FA list is

C-LEcharles Bentley
LB- Julian Peterson
QB_ David CArr
Cb Charles Woodson

And draft Mammoth tackle THE BRick, Mcneil, or LSu product Andrew Whitworth
 
thing is, i heard bentley will be tagged so i didn't bother.
 
i'd love somethign liek this n b/c we have the money....

Bentley - C
Hutchinson - G
Brouch - LT....ONLY if we pick up a QB in the Draft in Vick, Young, Leinart, Quinn IF not n we pick up a QB in the FA...Rivers, Brees, Carr then pick up the Brick at LT and a Croyle in the 2nd or 3rd round if he falls due to legs. Jacobs stock SHOULD fall.
J. Peterson - OLB
C. Woodson - CB
Hope - S (i just threw that in there)
Pick up a CB/S, NT, G/LT in other rounds and a WR.
 
1st round - offensive line or secondary
2nd round - secondary or WR
3rd round - quarterback or linebacker
 
hmm...i don tthink we will address teh secondary in the first round.

Why not? That's one of our weak spots. Madison won't be around too much longer. It all depends on where we'll be picking though.
 
LeCharles Bentley will get the franchise tag.

Matt Schaub will only be had for a first round pick.

I don't see Saban spending the farm on free agents no matter how much cap room we have. I think we'll see low budget veteran free agents brought in who fit the scheme.
 
hmm i hope not. We dont have time for that stuff. I think i'd be happy wiht a Quinn/Leinard at QB the most then address defense players and off line players through the draft and FA. I dont mind going ALL def. except for a QB and a OFF line with maybe one WR but i do believe we need a FB relaly bad as our past FB have not been that good.
