Monday Evening Camp Report

OZ, what Defensive formation were we in most of the time? I'm assuming primarily a 4-3 so the real question I'm asking is did you see any 3-4 fronts?

The fight was actually stockar and roth......... Also not sure why your giving Seth more credit, Manny wright ate him for lunch twice, was in the backfield before the ball carrier could do anything. Seth was awful. Agree with your assesment of the QB's and Wideouts.

No I'm almost possitive it was Damian Cook. I saw his number clearly, but could not catch the defensive person.

I gave Seth more credit because he deserved it. I'm not talking about just certain parts of practice, I'm talking as a whole. I'm just giving my opinions, but threre is one thing I know I always try and do, and that's try to show no bias. It's ok to disagree, because we all have our opinions.

One thing, there was a person last year doing camp reports and he hated Jay Fiedler. He was saying how Feeley was killing him in camp, which was just untrue. He also kept replying to my reports about how I kept saying that Vernon Carey was doing ok. He gauranteed me that Carey would be the starter. My point is that I too wanted Jay unseated as the starter, and I wanted our 1st round pick to start as well, but I just called it like I saw it.

I'm not saying this is what your doing, but just stating that everyone who reports should try to be as unbiased as possible.

Wright beat up on Jason Thomas more than twice. The person who went against McKinney the most is Keith Traylor. Traylor was killing Seth today though, and I'll surely be putting it in my Tuesday report.

They use a 4-3, with some neat variations added in. Lb's blitzing while a DE drops back, one Lb blitzes with a Safety while a DE drops back. Lots of different looks out of a 4-3.........so far.

Remeber Wright with a red jersey on so I couldnt mistake him fly through almost untouched and looking to see who it was he beat and it was Seth on at least two occasion. Traylor was actuallt shut down by seth but he couldnt handle wright speed, just saw the plays and really stuck out in my head, maybe cause wright was wearing red. As you I am as iunbiased as possible, I would like to see a certain QB take the lead but none has done so to this point.

Thanks for all the information gentlemen, you are a god-send (man I love this site). You all are the eyes and ears of thousands of FinFans across the nation.
One question Oz, does it appear that the O-line is giving the Q.B. adequate time to throw the ball down the field or is the defense letting up and allowing them to complete passes?

Once again thanx..................;)
Peace...................................................

What I was trying to say was maybe you saw Jason Thomas, who is number 60, and the O is very easily mistaken for the 8 on the white jersey's. They're using Thomas at Center.

All I know is im not a big fan of McKinney, so for me to give him some props, he earned them in my eyes.

And I have been loud and proud of my distain for Ricky Williams, but when others are reading my reports I can't just come out and say he sucked when he did'nt. So I know I'm not very biased.

BTW, dont take it personal please. If someone disagrees with me I like it because not everyone sees the same. I dont pretend to know football better than everyone. I just know that I know a lil sumthin sumthin. Your report was just fine by me......

On one play yes, then on the next play, no. So all in all they are twice as good as last year, but have lots of work to do still. ;)

Houck is making some good progress then
