I was on the Fanspeak Mock Draft Simulator using the Walter Football model. This is how it shook out. I think I'd be very happy with this as an end result. What do you guys think.

1) Ha Ha Clinton-Dix- the best Safety on the board! Ala.

2) Jace Amaro- TE Texas Tech, most experts rank him close to Ebron

3)Juwaun James-OT-Tenn- he's a pure RT, plug and play!

4)Jon Halapio-G-Fla- Fins brought him in for a visit, competes to start

5)Trai Turner-G- LSU- highly regarded, competes to start, o-line problems are fixed

6)Devin Street-WR- Pitt- good career at Pitt, worth a shot here imo

7) James Wilder-RB-FSU watched this kid play really well a few times.

no linebacker is the weakness that jumps out
 
Doubt that James last till round 2, let alone round 3
 
That is one hell of a optimistic mock.

JuWan James doesn't make it to the 3rd. (2nd Round)

Trai Turner doesnt make it to the 4th. (2nd-3rd Round)
 
That's true about James. He probably won't be there in the 3rd. Go to fanspeak and check out the mock draft simulator and post your results. There are different models to choose but I thought Walter would be the most realistic. I haven't seen many mocks where Clinton-Dix is there at #19 so I was surprised. It's fun to put the GM hat on and give it a shot!
 
Ha Ha is a solid pick although Safety probably isnt a real priority but I like the three O-lineman you drafted. I think we will take a TE in the first three rounds....Amaro, Nicklas or Sefarian-Jenkins. James is a early second rounder in my opinion. Nice job.
 
Wow, I only did 4 rounds and I ended up with no OT in the first 4 picks. haha
Was trying pretty much BPA and the value at OT was never there at my picks. Would have been a big reach. Interesting. Skov was a need pick imo and probably a hair early. This won't happen , but the way it fell with all Top OTs off the board it was hard to resist Ebron and Lee. Maybe S. Henderson would pan out at RT if there in the 5th. This draft will never happen, but it was interesting to see what might happen if you go BPA for the most part. Needs don't match value.

21, I love your picks. How can you not grab Ebron @19, total no brainer. Lee @50, you have to do it! I had Skov in several of my mocks. I checked him out and watched a bunch of tape on him. I like the intelligence and instincts getting to the ball carrier and taking him down. He will be a good NFL player imo. Sankey is very highly rated everywhere you look. These 4 players really upgrade the team in a big way. I'll bet in round 5 you would have found one of the lesser known guards or OTs to grab. If I'm the GM and it's either JuWaun James or Lee @50 I really think you have to go with Lee and snag a lineman later.
 
Yeah, I was expecting somebody like James to be there and certainly not Lee. Frankly, I'd be shocked if Ebron was even there at 19. Makes me want to do a whole 7 rounds now and see what happens.
 
So I did 7 rounds, and it's getting more difficult to give much credibility to the auto-draft pucks. This time Lewan and Ebron were both there.

I did a second Mock with Fanspeak's big board (not nearly as good of a board as walter football's)
The first time the site crashed. My first 3 were Ebron, Bitonio, and Richburg.

Not thrilled about this draft. As you can probably tell, I really want to make sure the Oline is fixed. And I think Richburg can go out to tackle, or we could shift Pouncey out if we wanted to. I view Mewhort and Bitonio very similarly, both RT/G types who could come in and probably start right away without having too many issues.
