Monday Morning Practice Tweets 8/13

i don't need practice reports that say carp can't make a field goal...i've seen plenty of that in games lately...wide slightly right over and over...deep kicks but still...cut off the mullet and maybe those suckers split the uprights ha ha

anyways nfl network reported that tannehill had a poor day of practice today...

Kid's a rookie and he's going to have bad days and make mistakes. Just get better

As far as Carpender I think they should ALWAYS bring in a kicker and punter to compete in training camp.

Kickers get complacent and they need to always be challanged. Shula always had some clown that would be the first cut but it kept the kickers honest.

When I heard the producer of Hard Knocks mention that he talks to Omar I got a sick feeling in my stomach.

The last episode was very good so maybe he's just likes getting a little comic relief after a hard day of shooting. :ponder:
 
I think if Tannehill is not starting by the 3rd Preseason game he won't be the starter.
 
i think they let Ryan start this week and then make their decision based on the results. We will have an opening day starter named probably next Monday and he will start the third game.

The loser will also get lots of work and could get his shot very soon if things go south.

If the loser is Tannehill then yes..this is true. But if the loser is Moore...well I just can't see a situation in which Tannehill starts initially and then is benched. He would have to be historically bad for that to happen...

Man I hate it though. I really do understand those that want to start Moore...I understand all the points. But Im on the start Tanny now wagon. Each player is different..and nobody really knows what is best for him. Ill be okay with whatever Philibin decides because they see him these guys a whole heckuva lot more than I do.
 
so tannehill finally has a terrible 11-11 today? hes suppose to, no rookie qb gonna always have a perfect practice, thats why its called practice
