I am pissed and upset about Week 1 but let's not look in the rear-view mirror. Let's look ahead. My take is Chad Pennington is a good player and he might get us to sniff around the wild-card but that is about it. He really limits our offense and I do not think the Dolphins will or should look into resigning him next seaso. I could see Pennington, Fasano, and Roth all being goners. We certainly didn't miss Roth this week. We are a MUCH better team that we indidcated in Atlanta and I feel sorry for the Dolphin players because sparano is going to kick their a$$ this week. Unlike previous regimes I have faith in our system and think the ship has a lot of water on the deck right now but I am pretty confident that we can get things straight. How?....

*The Colts are not going to respect our passing games and that is why we take chances on them early. Send Ginn on a fly route and let Pennington take 3 steps back and gun it with everything he has. Ginn is a good receiver who could be very good; we need to give him chances to make the big plays

*John Abaraham is severely underrated in this league and I feel is a better player than Dwight Freeney. Having said that I do not think Dwight Freeney is a slouch but Jake Long could bounce back nicely. If he can hold his own with Freeney than all is forgiven in my eyes.

*Run the "Original" Wild-Cat and mix in some "Wild-Pat". Pat White can play ladies and gents. You don't save a program like he did at WVU and win 4 bowl games if you don't have it. He over threw Ted Ginn Jr. for crying out load...not many can do that.Ronnie Brown is succesful at the helm of the wild-cat and this gimmick of an offense is an important piece of our offensive make-up.

*Do not forget Ricky Williams. Dude is a friggin beast. Runs so much harder than Ronnie Brown.

*Davone Bess in the slot needs to be utilized. This guy catches everything.

*If our defense can play like they did last week than we have a chance.

*Pennington be yourself. Do not turn the ball over. Trust your young receivers.

*Fasano- Be the plaer you were last season. We need you and if you want to stick around you NEED to play like you did last season.

I have cooled a little and we are a good team but we need better play from #77. #80, #10, and we need the 12th man to really bring it. The Colts are slow starters and Bob Sanders and Anthony Gonzalez are out. Austin Collie and Pierre Garcion (so) do not scare me. Reggie Wayne does and we may need to double team him. We need to CREATE turnovers. The Colts line is suspect and the combo of Porter and Taylor need to do damage. Dude if we win this game and are 1-1 all is forgiven and we can see the post-season. Let's beat the $hit out of the Colts.

Go Dolphins!

As badly as I want to agree with you....that's a lot of "if's" to work out in 1 week.

Reggie was double teamed all game vs the Jags. Good luck with that.

And I dont see Dallas Clark mentioned anywhere. He is going to be the reason the Dolphins go 0-2.

We have the Colts at home on Monday Night. Manning is not invincible and for all the audibles he calls and how loud the stadium will be, we gain a major advantage. Miami wins 21-17 (especially if we rock the orange jerseys).

:lol2:, no chance of that happening...

Anyways, Colts fans belong on the Colts boards... not, the Phins boards...

Going into the season, I was more worried about the Colts than the Falcons.

If we give the Colts the starting field position we gave Atlanta, they'll put up 30. Even if we don't, any P. Manning-run team is capable of putting up big numbers.

Good news:

Our offense CAN'T play worse.

. . .

I'm not optimistic going into Week 2. After Week 1, I really can't be anything but curious.

Afraid of a little bantering with the enemy? Circle jerks are boring. Trust me, Im not here to be a troll. I come in peace. As a matter of fact, The Dolphins are my 2nd favorite team.

Just wait until say.....Friday. This board will have alot more Colts fans than just me.

I agree, the Colts scared me more coming into the season than the Falcons did...and we see how that worked out.

Given Sparano's mood at the presser today, Miami should be on fire Monday. He is not in a good mood.

I think he knows this Pennington thing is not good for the team. Something has to give, we have too many offensive weapons to be limited by dink and dunk.

It's time to worry. It's likely we start 0-3. Atlanta was the closest thing we had to a winnable game. Yes they're a better team, yes they were home. But they didn't play great football either, we had chances to win that game and we didn't capitalize. We were thoroughly outplayed by a team that was better, and now we face off against teams that are even better than who we just played. It's going to be rough.

If you say so... maybe we Phins fans should hijack the Colts boards then...

I'll believe your a Phins fan when I see it for my own eyes...

No it wont, the Colts don't have fans. I mean they used to, but then they're all Ravens fans now.

I'm afraid of Dallas Clark. Actually, I don't care who's catching the balls for Indianapolis, I'm deathly afraid of Peyton Manning. Everyone knows he can kill your team and make another commercial doing it.

:lol2:, that's a load of BS right there... Peyton Manning may be a great QB but he ain't PERFECT...
