Monday Night Football To ESPN?

It's all about the whole ratings issue....sure MNF has sucked in terms of audience decline, HOWEVER it still gets a top 20 audience in prime time. 30% of home viewer audience would not be able to view MNF :(

ESPN and ABC are both owned by Disney. Why would it change, with ABC having access to a greater audience?

I think this is the NFL trying to stir the pot and get a bidding war going, like the last time, when CBS outbid NBC to get the NFL back, after losing the NFC to Fox.

The NFL has a plan and that is to control its own product. What they want to do is their own broadcasting though their own satellite and Internet network services.(When technogy improves to make that feasible).

Gone will be the days of free open broadcast TV.If MNFL continues it will be as part of a package controlled by the NFL.:hump:

Maybe, but they will kill it just like boxing. What these owners never seem to realize is that when you lower exposure to fans, you lose fans and hurt the sport in the long run.
