Money problems?!?!

I don't think you should be making 5-6 million a year for a sport that you supposedly love

Think of how much money the NFL makes as a business. Between apparel, tickets, concession stands, tv contracts etc. You dont think players deserve a fair piece of all that money?

True, players do deserve a fair amount. I mean we are paying to watch THEM, not the fat bald rich guys sitting down. We do idolize our athletes, but I sitll dislike the greed.

I do also. When Owens is make 8 mill and says it isnt enough I think he is an idiot. When Spree turns down a 3 yr 21 million dollar deal to play basketball and says he has to feed his family he is an idiot also. But I dont think Law turning down 2.5 to look for a better offer is being unrealistic.

What I really hate are when big time players complain about money, and THINK they have the luxury of choosing how much money they want. Then they use the excuse that they need to support a family. What?!?! 2.5 million or even 1 million a year is not enough?!?! Well I'll tell you something, there are people so poor out there that are greatful for one dollar. I dont want this to be a rampage, but its just a serious thought, and players need to stop being greedy, saying they deserve big money, if any deserves big dough its the soldiers in Iraq for sure, putting theur lives on the line. Just my thoughts on athletes nowadays, and we have seen it with Surtain and other big timers. Its unfortunate IMO. But again, just my thoughts, dont flame me.

I agree with you, but on the other side.

How much are the owners making? The players risk their butts, not the owners. I think Ty will end up signing with a team soon. Someone will overpay for his "superstar" status.

He will help fill the seats...

Yeah, but at the same rate he's looking to dwarf what everyone else makes...the only thing he needs to dwarf is his big egotistical head

Players are defianely overpaid when EDDIE JONES makes 15 million and he is a below average player that is insane. When the average NBA salary is 5.5 million for an AVERAGE player not a super star. that is ludacris.
