I do not know about you guys but with the recent re-signing of Jason Taylor, this defense looks incredible. One thing I learned from the Giants' superbowl run 2 years ago was that you can never have too many pass rushers and with this signing we are incredibly stacked as a defensive unit. To have JT, Joey Porter, Channing Crowder, Cameron wake, Akin Ayodel, Matt Roth, Philip Merling, Kendall Langford, and still have Jason Ferguson at least for another year makes me one happy camper. We also now have JT back to mentor Merling, Langford, and Wake. Plus our secondary is now not full of holes as it was this time last year and look what we did.

Plus the offense, which is just coming into its own this last year, with Chad Pennington at the helm. We now have 2 rookie recievers who have potential to be what we need, specially Patrick Turner. I just cannot believe we have come so far from a year and a half ago.

I can't wait for the season to start, and to see how we will prove analysts wrong and shun all these ridiculous nay sayers.

I love the Miami Dolphins, so I like anyone on our team regardless but now I can finally say that the team that I root for is the one that I have the highest hopes for.

I'm not gonna call it a "moster defense", but there seems to be some potential there, and hopefully everything pans out.

the question is who will not be wearing a dolphins jersey come the 1st game? will we be releasing draft picks? will we bother to sign them? It will be interesting to see who makes the final roster...

The defense is shaping up. I would like to see another "J. Fergeson" type linemen. But definitely filling up some holes.

I honestly think Roth might be gone but I don't know. One thing I have come to know though is that I trust the Tuna. I don't like to blindly follow... unless the person I follow has X-ray vision.

The D is sick, out of hand, it can become elite if and only if the secondary comes alive and i have high hopes for them.... Cant wait to see what happens all we need now is Anquan and i will take the day off ... LOL

I don't think Matt Roth is gone unless we trade him. He was solid last year and is the perfect type of depth player we need. Now this is unfortunate for all of the potential pass rushing projects they have now because that is one more roster spot they lose there. I'm seeing either Quentin Moses or Terrarius George gone by the time the season starts. All in all it is a major upgrade to an already improving defense. I bet Tom Brady is losing a little more sleep than normal knowing what he is going to see twice a year.

It will def. be an interesting TC to watch the LB's compete....I dont think any of the OLB outside of Porter are safe.

JT doesn't make the defense a monster defense but they certainly have the chance of being even better then they would've been without him. Hopefully his injury is healed and his motivation will be high playing for the Phins again.

If he can teach Wake a thing or 2 it's worth the Mil...Dont think he'll be teaching Merling or Langford much....different positions.

With another (Good) pass rusher it makes the defense that much more dangerous. If the Dline can bring the heat all game long with the stabe of guys they have now, it will help the d backs so they have time to jell.

Basically this deal is full of positives, Added another pass rusher, brought in veteran leadership and probably a great mentor for Wake, essentially got a second rounder for free, and last but not least **** you patriots. Did they really think they would steal one of our all time greats? NO! **** Belicheck and **** Brady

we are in desperate need of a young DT, but i feel that the kid from jacksonsville the 6 ft 7 monster can be real nice we'll see though

If Jason Ferguson stays healthy and we find a good rotation at DE like we did last yr.......this could be a top 10 defense if the rookie corners have a short learning curve.
