Moore (I don't get it)

Moore is a good back up. Henne is a little bit better than him in my estimation. Could we find someone better than both of them? Absolutely. But the team around the QB is just sad. Can't catch, can't block, can't tackle, can't coach. We are reaching new lows.

This game showed that this team is capable of losing games with poor performance everywhere, no question. But by this point Henne has proven that even when the team plays 95 percent of a good game and tries to hand him a win, he can't seal the deal.

It's just a shame Moore didn't win the job today, because we all know that even if the rest of the team for some reason plays well, Henne will still lack the ability to drive for the win. I'd rather see another QB get the opportunity on the rare occasion it does happen.

you realize you just described matt moore as well right?

he has started 11 games in his career and been in the league since 2007....

Actually, Moore has started 13 as far as I know, and was 7-6 on a team where every QB in the last 5 years has had a losing record.

he has more interceptions than touchdowns in his career, and has fumbled the ball plenty, although they haven't all been lost fumbles...

So does Henne, who has 5! games in his career where he has thrown 3 interceptions, and NONE where he has thrown three TD's.

dont' act like matt moore is some rookie qb, or a kid who has been a backup and never seen live

he was pulled as starter for jimmy ****ing claussen after throwing four pics in two games....

Chad Henne wasn't pulled after throwing three int's against Baltimore. He wasn't pulled after throwing 3 against Cleveland. And he wasn't pulled after he threw 2 in the 4th quarter against Detroit that literally gave the game to them. If you're suggesting that Moore didn't deserve to be on the field because he sucked for throwing those INT's, then you should hold Henne to the same standard.

But that's the real problem here. No matter how ineffective Henne is, and no matter that he's really almost never been effective other than like 2 of his first career starts, whenever a backup QB comes into a game and fails to be perfect, they are held to a higher standard than Henne himself.

You want to play the blame game? Go to the source ...the owner of this pathetic franchise...S Ross. If he gave a rats butt the house would have been cleaned and trash dumped 365 days ago but yet we bicker about Henne & Moore actually caring about these 2 scrubs who will soon be stocking shelves and out of football while he (Ross) gets his massage.

so even by quoting everything I type, even though I hadn't yet forgotten what I had typed, essentially you are telling me there is no difference between the two qb's... yet you are adamant that matt moore is better than henne and needs to be starter???

especially in your last sentence... did I miss the part of the game today where matt moore was effective? everybody wants henne to be perfect and if he's not they cut his throat. your beloved matt moore got in today, and wasn't perfect and didn't win, and for some reason, although you claim otherwise, you want the same excuses you won't allow henne to have.

Like Lois Einhorn said in Ace Ventura, you are forgetting a little thing called "evidence". You've just made a claim that you have no base for. And don't say today, because throwing an INT on 3rd and 18, down two scores with 3 minutes left against a team that hadn't been stopped by our defense in the second half, after a free blitzer got to him almost untouched on second down, is not an indication of jack, other than that he is not a miracle worker.

Pat Devlin is the best QB on this team. He may be the least experienced, but he is still the best. Trust me.

Miami does not have a QB on this team that could carry the rest of the weak links to victory on most Sundays.

When looking from the GM's view...

* Hope that major injuries do not happen to our core players.
* Hope that the young guys that might have a future here get playing experience worth remembering.
* Hope that Tony will leave without ripping my head off after I fire him in Week 7.
* Hope that Miami makes improvements with the players that might be here in the future, but still get a TOP 5 pick in the draft.
* Hope that Miami gets a QB in round 1.

HC view...

* Glad I got that extra money and my new retirement party should be pretty sweet.
* Call a bunch of timeouts b/c I did not prepare my teams better.
* Just in case I do not get fired, find 2 new G's and C...maybe mixing it up again will help.

... Miami needs a QB, SS, NB, DB, RB, WR, TE, G, DE, FS... Although that seems like a lot, there are plenty of teams that need almost as much and are winning. We just need some LUCK and maybe we will get the right guys next year to help turn the tide...

Where did I say Matt Moore was better? Henne has had 31 starts to show that he can be something with this team. Matt Moore, who played to the same level of mediocrity (and there's no way you can say it was better or worse), has had one relief appearance where he was playing with players he had hardly been on the field with.

It just amazes me how one mediocre appearance gets you dismissed if you aren't Henne, but 30 doesn't get Henne dismissed. And if a backup who hasn't been given the same chance for success as a passer plays at about the same level as the guy who has had all starter reps, then it's not fair to say that he is worse.

yeah, apparently you forget the bess over the middle easy one where he was a mile behind bess. moore is not better than henne. and why no one brings up this suck *** defense is beyond me. the defense is worse than the offense.

season is tanked. thank u players union! got your players more money for what? ****ty *** football thats what.

Actually the players are going to get less. But don't let that fact get in the way of your rant.

Oh your right, a backup QB has that one bad play that you pointed out. He's garbage!

Give me a break, Matt Moore almost threw a pick 6, he threw a ball RIGHT Into the hands of Takeo Spikes who pulled a madden and just batted it down. Then he did throw a pick on a terrible decision and it was called back on a PI that has nothing to do with the play in honesty, he under threw Hartline and the idiot CB tackled hartline even though he was out of the picture.

they did not allow him to win a game like any other QB, the coach runs the ball down ten, with first and ten on the sandiego thirty yard line in the fourth quarter, we all knew sandiego was going to get at least a field goal, instead he kicks a 52 yard field goal, this guy make you sleep

at least matt moore tries to throw for a big play, we are going to lose anyway
