Moore is a better Qb than Thigpen and maybe Henne

A quarterback switch would most like occur after the bye week. I think Miami would have to have a losing record though (very possible if Henne continues his inconsistent play), but Sporano seems very stubborn and unlikely to admit the Henne experment is a failure and probably would play Henne for several more games. I would hate to see him start Moore without any practise time with the number 1's like he did with Thigpen prior to the Chicago game.

I expect Thigpen to be the starting QB of the Toronto Argonauts in a year or two, no doubt his exposure in Buffalo will help.
Moore hasn't seriously challenged Henne yet and has a ways to go, but who knows where things end up? Moore still has plenty of upside and Devlin could end up the best of the 3.

Moore, Henne or Thigpen are all below average QB's. Moore may have some upside, but I only say that because his sample of work is so limited. If we are discussing which of these 3 would be best for the Fins, I say stick with Henne just for the offensive continuity, but I wouldn't care if we sent Moore and Henne to Buffalo with Thiggy, and started from scratch. This is getting ridiculous.....It's almost like a joke,

If you discuss which of 3 average at best QB's should be your starter....

You might be a redneck...errr Dolphins Fan!!!

Of course Moore provides competition for Henne. Until Henne establishes himself as our QB of the future, anybody can and will challenge him. Moore isn't as bad as the majority of the board perceives him to be.

Too be honest this has been the first time i have seen Moore perform..
Going into the game i was most curious about Devlin.
I kinda thought Moore would be a bum because of his stats last year in Carolina..
Though this game he played like the year before last when he put up good #s

Moore just seems like he makes the most out of plays compared to what we have..
I still think henne needs to work on his touch passes..

You know when an announcer says "that's the best 3 yard completion i have ever seen"
where bess had to one hand dive catch a short pass that henne was not feeling it..

After he cooled down though he made a couple good throws.
we have seen this henne b4 one touchdown then one interception..

Bottom line on Moore...

In 2010 he had a concussion Week 1, season ending injury Week 9. Inbetween that he lost both RB's at points and was on a god awful team. If you throw that disaster scenerio OUT THE WINDOW and look past that as few QB's could have success in that situation. Then look at 2009 when he was in a "reasonable NFL Situation", not great but not awful....

2009 Moore went 4-1 as a starter with 8 TD's and 1 INT. I'm not gonna tell you Moore is great, but he is probably more servicable and more polished than Henne at this point in their careers.

Moore had a good first game, but let's see how he plays in the next few games before we make any rash decisions.

Moore is your insurance - Henne is YOUR starter

Good metaphor!!

Tony already has one foot in the grave (Harbaugh-gate) ... & Henne's behind Sparano nudging him harder & harder.

Still not clear if Moore can dig Tony out of the hole!!

Tonys double talk leads me to believe henne will get the starting spot if he does ok
Moore would have to light up every team in the preseason to be considered..
though Sparano will have henne on a short leash and will feed the wolf moore to the famine..
