Moore is Moore

so your statistic driven? is that what ur saying? I am driven by who wins ballgames. Henne is the starter. He blows it, in comes Moore to prove week to week he can do it.

Oregon State vs. Michigan . not sure the competition henne faced was not more stout. its pretty tough when you have to play Ohio state every year.

and while were at it, why not compare 2010? what was wrong in 2010? injury and snakebitten a little?

Bottom line for me is I hope Henne does well and have confidence he can turn it around in this offense and talent around him. I also hope that Moore keeps improving and making plays and keeps the heat on henne and opposing defenses.

It's not a baseless argument - the competition should be open here.

If we start out slowly and Henne is terrible, I think we change QBs and Moore will get to start. There is no way they will stick with Henne if we can't win games, Sparano's job is on the line.

And FAIR, too, don't you think? I SAW the 1st INT. FASANO SUCKS major League Wazoo. If HIS only excuse, on a pattern where he's running left, is that the ball would have hit him in the "8" rather than the "0", then he doesn't belong in the NFL...PERIOD. And I don't care HOW GREAT A BLOCKER HE IS. As to BESS, he ran a bad pattern according to Coach SPARANO, who also said that HENNE made the wrong throw--didn't throw a "touch" pass. And according to Coach SPARANO, "two wrongs make a wrong". Still, I wonder what would've happened if BESS ran the CORRECT pattern. Being a QB sometimes looks a lot like being the President: "the buck stops here". And it seems that very often the blame truly lies ELSEWHERE. As to FASANO, he's just not "clutch", and the sooner MIAMI upgrades and either demotes or cuts him, the better.

P.S.: How do you like the new version of HENNE? He even had a 10 yard (or so) run for a 1st Down!!! And I'm liking DABOLL already!

True the BIG TEN is better than the PAC. But Heene had the best team in the BIG TEN in those days. Look at his teammates. Even his wideouts most of them are in the NFL. Compare that to Oregon State's roster. Why could Heene not be most successful in College? He had better teams.

i think henne should get to prove more than just one preseason start. and i cant believe people aint saying what the real problem is. the o line played like @!#$. they were getin blown off the ball. i saw on the first run play carry got thrown into pouncy. if they dont get it together soon it wont matter who gets to start.

Henne is terrible when he runs. As soon as he gets the run idea in his head he doesn't look up to see if he can make a last minute play.

You're driven by who wins ballgames? Then you should go with the guy whose career winning percentage is above .500.

You're blind if you think Henne is better than Moore. Then again, that's not saying much.

well matt moore's qb rating in 2010 was ~55 and henne's was ~75 so henne's way better than moore according to your logic...dolphins fans are idiots, if matt moore had been our starter last year and we signed henne in the offseason to be the backup, every thread would be about how henne is head and shoulders above moore and we need to start henne and bench moore...this is a recurring theme amongst dolphins fans since marino retired, every year the backup qb is the fan's favorite player...do you guys remember when ray lucas was our savior, he just needed a chance? well he got his chance and I was there to watch him versus buffalo in the most atrocious quarterbacked game I've ever seen live (and I've seen a couple of cleo lemon games), then it was huard, griese, sage, cleo, etc etc, everyone hates the starter and clamors for the 2nd string until the 2nd string finally comes in and shows the fans why he is 2nd string...in conclusion, henne>moore and you idiots need to stop pleading for change just for the sake of change

Uh... Moore had to face USC every year. I think we can all agree that was a tougher match-up.
