Bottom line for me is I hope Henne does well and have confidence he can turn it around in this offense and talent around him. I also hope that Moore keeps improving and making plays and keeps the heat on henne and opposing defenses.

Ok, Moore is 7-4 as a starter, Henne has a losing record.

What is idiotic is taking a 3 game season where a QB was knocked out by concussion, then another season ending injury and using that rather than career numbers.

Moore is 7-4 as a starter, with a postive TD/INT ratio, Henne has a losing record and a negative TD/INT ratio.

And you certainly can't say Carolina has a better team than Miami as far as supporting cast goes.
 
I really can't believe the faith put in Henne by some of the posters here, even tony acknowledged that moore looked better. He has been awful for years now and was awful in college. Open your eyes people, Moore looked like he was in a different class out there, go look at Ryan Mallett's highlights from the NE game and see what a QB is suppose to look like, man i can't beleive we passed on this kid...
 
fact is, we are so desperate for anything resembling an NFL QB that we are willing to entertain almost anyone at this point. what happened to the Thigpen bandwagon? He was the ultimate in scambling/improvisational QB's? Except he did close to nothing when he got in a game. We're going to have to stick it out with Henne for at least the first month of the season (if he completely tanks it), then we might see them make a change.

Everybody passed on him at least twice. So he lit-up the Jacksonville #28th ranked 3rd string defense.
 
yeah, I'll say this, if by the 3rd preseason game, Henne has not made some kind of statement, (12-15, 200yrd+, 2 TDs) let's say, and Moore is putting up numbers, even if its not against the starting defense, they might do it.

Henne has had some regular season games that were pretty decent, dude. Not preseason, midseason games where he threw for a ton of yards and has had a handful of nice comebacks. He's got some talent, just hasn't been consistent.

I love preseason! Guys thinking they know who should start after 1 game, that didn't even have a gameplan. Moore played against back ups, Henne played against starters. Class dismissed. Pick up your GEDs at the door on your way out.
 
Moore will be starting by week5! Henne needs to get benched, he is not an NFL QB.
