Moore is Moore

Going to a bunch of Carolina Panther games last year it was absolutely painful watching him at the beginning of last year. Granted I'm not sure any QB could have been successful in Carolina last year. But he was worthless in every way. I'd rather take my chances with Henne which is sad, but its the best chance this team has.
 
I really hope this kid gets a looong look with one's this weekend.
 
Matt Moore will start at least one game this season. I'd bet money on it. He will have his day.
 
I'm very open to a QB competition, but to dismiss Henne for Moore after 1 game is funny, and watching some of Henne's most beloved haters using that game as justification for anything is even funnier. Give it a rest and enjoy some damn football.

Oregon State vs. Michigan . not sure the competition henne faced was not more stout. its pretty tough when you have to play Ohio state every year.


and while were at it, why not compare 2010? what was wrong in 2010? injury and snakebitten a little?

Bottom line for me is I hope Henne does well and have confidence he can turn it around in this offense and talent around him. I also hope that Moore keeps improving and making plays and keeps the heat on henne and opposing defenses.

Don't forget that Football Dynamo that came in and Kicked Michigans a$$, who was it again, uh, eh, YEAH $$$ Appalachian State $$$ LOL
 
I think if we would have drafted Mallett that Henne would pretty much have retired on the spot. They crossed paths at Michigan.

Moore is 7-4 as a starter, with a postive TD/INT ratio, Henne has a losing record and a negative TD/INT ratio.

And you certainly can't say Carolina has a better team than Miami as far as supporting cast goes.

what is even more idiotic, is ignoring the fact that when comparing guys, YOU CAN'T IGNORE a guy getting hurt.
how do you just excuse the fact that he was hurt for damn near an entire season? what if he doesn't get hurt, and wins 3 games all year?

we've been through this before, with a backup nobody wanted except a few finheaven members... his name was thigpen. they got their way, he got to start and looked worse than a kid conceived between ray lucas and cade mccown. now hes gone, and nobody cares where hes at cuz he sucks....

matt moore is our savior waiting in the wings... I don't have enough kleenex's to dry the tears of this bandwagon when their hearts get broken.

If we start out slowly and Henne is terrible, I think we change QBs and Moore will get to start. There is no way they will stick with Henne if we can't win games, Sparano's job is on the line.

You mean a game where Michigan's defense gave up 34 points, where Chad Henne and the offense came back from being down 2 TD's in the 2nd half to grab the lead, watched Michigan defense surrender that lead again, and lead his team, with 21 seconds left on the clock on their 34 yard line . . . to the App State 20 yard line . . . only to watch the FG kicker miss his second field goal with under 3 minutes on the clock.

Yea, Let's blame Henne by himself for that game.

It was a division II team. Henne should have put 40 on them before the end of the 3rd quarter.
 
If at any point Matt Moore is named our starting QB because Henne's playing that badly,i'll come on here and call for Henne&Sparano to be kicked out right then,name Mike Nolan our Interim HC,and let the chips fall where they may. At that point i'm done with the both of them.
