Old school: Falcons coach Jim Mora summed up Sunday's game against the Dolphins pretty well. "We're not playing the Run-and-Shoot," he said. "We're playing the Run, Run and Run. It's like Oklahoma-Nebraska. It will be run, run, run and play some D."

Anyone suspect he is posturing again...I believe they are going to try to attack our secondary with the pass.

Still, if this turns into an old school game I would be happy with that.

UH-YAH!! That would be playing to our strengths... I don't think he'd be that foolish with Ricky and Ronnie coming off a good game of confidance and our Defense too!!

Our D-line needs to play lights out like they did against New Orleans though!!

If it's Run,Run, Run the dirty birds better be playing alot of "D"!!!

Mostly because of Vick, it's all about containing Vick, but I'm sure everyone knew that.
But then again Dunn is having a good season himself. I can't wait to see how this plays out cause R&R had themslves a good game last Sunday.

Mora likes throwing out things to the press to confuse them, but one thing he never jokes about is the fact that we'll run, run, run the ball and play defense...

Their identity is to run the football, they dont apoligise for it either. Its what they are.

Should be a fun game. Hopefully. people need to remember a guy named Alge Crumpler, however. Im not positive on whose going to cover him, but i know we have to. The falcons may not be a predominant passing offese, but crumpler will get his passes. you can bet on it.

I'm concerned about Dunn and Vick, but mostly Dunn. Right now...I do feel we are much stronger than in the running dept. I know it was New Orleans, but both Ronnie and Ricky ran very hard that game.

I think the success of this team has more to do with Mora than Vick. He put together a team that can win without a great quarterback. This is the kind of team that the Dolphins could be this year. This game is so even in so many ways.

:goof: anyone know where i can see the game--i live in sw florida/fort myers and the fox channel near us will show the  bucs. thanks

Now, I spent a good part of the 2002 season on the road working, and I was able to track down a sports bar in freakin' Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, that put the Falcons games on for me every week. I'm sure you won't have any problems tracking the game down in Ft. Meyers if you get out your yellow pages and do some calling...
