Under Coach Don Shula, the Dolphins finished the regular season 8-8. Although Miami did not make the Playoffs that year, QB Dan Marino threw for 44 touchdowns.

1972 Miami Dolphins - The 1972 Miami Dolphins won the AFC Eastern division and AFC championships and went on to defeat the Washington Redskins 14-7 in Super Bowl VII to complete an unblemished 17-0-0 record.

Super Bowl VII: Miami Dolphins vs Washington Redskins - The Dolphins beat the Washington Redskins 14-7 to become the only team in NFL history to complete a perfect season (17-0). Dolphins safety Jake Scott, who had two interceptions, including one in the end zone to end a Redskins drive, was voted the games MVP.

Under head coach Don Shula, the 1973 Dolphins finished the regular season 12-2. Led to the playoffs by running back Larry Csonka, the Dolphins defeated the Bengals (34-16) and the Raiders (27-10) on their way to Super Bowl VIII. Csonka finished with 145 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Dolphins over the Vikings 24-7 in the Super Bowl.
12:30 a.m. -- Film Session
Super Bowl VIII: Miami Dolphins vs Minnesota Vikings - The defending Super Bowl champion Dolphins defeated the Vikings 24-7 to become the second team in NFL history to win back-to-back Super Bowls. Dolphins running back Larry Csonka was named MVP after running 145 yards and two touchdowns.

All the drama of this historic game is relived in this 90-minute special as NFL FILMS reconstructs the game using archival footage and the original radio calls. Considered one of the most exciting games in the annals of NFL history, the 1981 playoff game between the Chargers and the Dolphins was played amid high drama and even higher humidity.
