Looking for our new GM and OC. I for one am more excited about the possibilities of the future and the fact we are moving on and making the moves that need to be made to getting this going and operating like a real football franchise should be. Now that they got rid of the stagnant likes of Ireland and Sherman.

yes well I normally would say playoffs over just about anything else but giving the last 2 years of listening to Fireland!! and watching Sherman's so-called offensive play calling I'm going with the search. I don't think they were going far anyway if they made it and would have been stuck with Ireland and Sherman another year.

I dont give a shot about playoffs or the draft, or free agency right now.
I want this organization rebuilt the RIGHT WAY.
Otherwise it all makes no difference. We'll be doing more of this for years to come.
This is an excellent opportunity to rid ourselves of the tarnished image, the dry rot that infects this team.
It's NEEDS to be done. Ross just doesn't get it. I was a Ross supporter, but he's losing me. I hate how this team goes about it's business.

I'm so tired of the offseason hype but this year is different because ireland is gone! Its not all doom and gloom like being reported. This could be a very good thing. I think when ross interviews the gm he will sell it like, work with joe for one season, see how it goes, if you don't like it, fire his ass and hire your crew, if you like it sweet! It could be a win win for us. Thatts wha I would tell the potential gm's coming in to interview. I would also not let this aponte lady be in charge of the gm. Fuk that. This lady seems sneaky but I don't know enough about the situation. She appearently has us in good cap space so... that is why I am excited to see this offseason. Reporters are reporters and always will be, they don't report facts anymore so I take all these doom and gloom reports with a grain of salt. But I'm not ignorant enough to see that ross is still a damn idiot!

Agree with this. I don't see the point in making the playoffs if the team really isn't good enough to really challenge The high power likes of Den. N.O. Sea. This team is not on their offense or defensive level.

What kind of fan would rather miss the playoffs, because you don't like the GM and/or coaches? if the dolphins made the playoffs, then they deserved to be in the playoffs. I would have been perfectly fine keeping Ireland and Sherman, had miami made the playoffs in this new coachings staffs 2nd year. Even if they went one and done, I would look forward to the progress of next season, and getting better, and going furthing in to the playoffs. But seeing as how that didn't happen, then obviously they didn't deserve to be in the playoffs, and i'm happy to see ireland and sherman gone. but if i had to choose between those two, I would be happier if miami were in the playoffs....because most fans care more about wins, than what goes on behind the scenes, as long as the team is winning...
Right, because we don't care that we have a solid staff first and fo who can scout, recruit, coach and make the correct adjustments in the games leading this team. Its foolish that you try to call us out, your not being realistic. What is the point of building a house if you don't have a solid foundation to build it on. It will just collapse, like we did this season.
