More front office promotions

Paraphrasing George Santayana: "Who who ignores history is doomed to repeat it."

The finz motto should be, One step forward, 2 steps back.

Next thing you know they will be bringing in jake long to play guard.

Source tells @NFLonFOX & @SiriusXMNFL that @MiamiDolphins are promoting long-time scout Adam Engroff to college scouting director

Apparently the folks running our team think that we have been leading the NFL in drafting for the last 10 years and see no need to ever look outside the building for any role!

We have Tannebaum why do we need anybody else.
This was my huge issue with the Grier hire, why would you noy look at anybody that has worked for a successful NFL team that has some current success.

The scouts don't make the picks, the GM does! Kinda blaming the messenger here don't you think?

Who do you think we should of hired?

Meh if it was up to me id fire the gm and every scout, director and coffee boy that has been the core
of a group that couldnt put together a team capable of winning a single playoff game in the last 10 years.

Not really, the gm is the figurehead but theres a lotta teamwork went into our ****ty rosters through the years.

The head coach picks the team, but the wr coach normally gets fired alongside him.

Im sure this guy is probably one of the picks of our awful bunch, much like Grier.... but god damn this front office needs some outside help from teams that draft well.

didn't the NYPOST say we where the 7th rated drafting team in the NFL. What we do with talent is another thing. Also I always hear our scouts are highly touted around the NFL. Besides now this is bitching to bitch. Damn Debbie downer, are puppies bad and babies suck as well. LOL.

It's what he does.....brings some news...and trashes the story with pessimism...
Maybe the new regime actually have a plan in place and are busy executing it...congrats to Adam...I would think he fits the mindset and direction the staff has in mind and has earned the promotion..

Engroff was a scout for the Northwest area back when Ireland was GM. Guys like Sean Smith and Koa Misi were scouted by him and he was considered maybe the top regional scout we had at that time. Been interesting to watch him continue to move up the chain. Probably get a shot to be a GM someday.

Because if things go south Grier will be Tannebaum's latest sacrifice

People don't stay with jobs long if there is no chance of promotion. You have to manage that well in any company. Plopping people in, just demotivates your staff often.
