MORE Matt Jones HIGHLIGHTS.

i haven't talked about him for a while since it seems less likely we're going to have a chance to pick him but i still want him

Yeah with where we are picking it would be real tough to take him. Even if we trade down and get some 2nd rounders, he'll be gone by the end of the first. Only scenario that would work ould be if we trade with Minnesota for their #7 and #18 and then trade down from #18 to the end of the 1st.

He is my #1 priority because of the value. In my opinion down the road he will end up being top 5 out of this draft. Just can't see how, assuming a year of learning the position, he won't be able to a reach Pro Bowl level with his combination of size, speed, hands, jumping ability and natural football instincts.

Obviously come draft day, I will be jumping around like a mad man if we get him.

oh yeah i will be jumping and giggling like a little girl...... just like i did on Feeley's now legendary TD pass on 4th and 10

Its just sick! Its absolutely not fair to any defense in football. If Miami trades down, I hope we find a way to get this kid on the roster.

I'd be hard pressed not to take him at #7 if we traded with Minnesota.

Did you see that one-handed catch in the endzone at the senior bowl on a deep fade route where he got the corner running full speed because he's so fast then slowed up and used his height? Get use to that. And that was the first time he'd played receiver too!

My god. He's going to dominate. As sure as the sun will come up tomorrow.

I can only hope that Matt Jones is not wearing a Dolphins jersey come next season.

Well then you'd better hope he's not wearing a Jets, Pats, or Bills jersey either. If he doesn't go to Miami, I hope someone like Minnesota gets him. Someone we'll only see once every three years or something.

I think Saban wants TB to trade up 3 spots for Smith, which then might cause a DOMINO effect making Minnesotta trade up with the Fins new #5 pick and giving us their #7. Remember the Vikings got rid of Moss to get that #7 and take one of the big 2 WR's.....well as time went on Braylon and Mike have been moving up the draft boards and neither of them might get past #6 to the Titans. Hopefully we make everyone in the top 10 nervous and we use it to our advantage. At #7 we can still find one of the 3 RB's, maybe a top WR,Possibly The BEST Defensive player, or worst case scenario the best OL on the board. That doesn't seem so bad, right?
Hey, remember that the Vikings these past two years have been the joke of the draft. Remember that they were LATE turning in the name of the player they want for 2 straight years, making them move further down in the draft. They can easily get Nervous that one of the big 2 WR's will fall off the board before either of them gets to #7. The Vikings NEED a WR, and if we end up with that 5th pick and there's only one WR left MINNY will need to pull the trigger.
I dont have a problem with #7....as long as we're in the top 10 we're good. And don't forget all the 2nd rounders and 3rd rounders we've accumulated if we do those trades with TB and Minny.

BUT IF WE DO PICK AT # 2 OVERALL........

DolFreak-
I'm confused. Why do you paste the same message across so many threads. At least change the content because it doesn't really seem to fit here.

I know man. I wouldn't complain if we picked him in the middle of the first. Say we make the trade for Minny's #7 and #18. I would take Jones at 18.

I'd be hard pressed not to take him at #7, just to make sure nobody else beats us to it. If the league is smart, I can guarantee you he goes higher than everyone thinks. That is, if his personal workouts for teams didn't all suck.
