More Miko fun with bleacher report

Sorry, but I completely disagree.

I don't post very often, but I do very frequently read the posts and opinions of others on this forum. I do recognize that many of us have very different opinions and can be very "animated" sometimes in how we express them. Most often, we express dissenting opinions in a civil manner, although some folks here can get a little carried away.

But I have a hard time with this. Miko Grimes might have a bone to pick with a Bleacher Report author who expressed a negative opinion regarding her husband. He is a public sports figure, and certainly open-game to anyone with a pen, blog, platform, etc expressing their personal views on a public figure; be that right or wrong. And she is welcome to express her opinion to the contrary.

But for her to throw a comment into the public that she has "a dick for you to eat" to express her schadenfreudic dissatisfaction of the author's opinion only speaks to her level of horrible immaturity. There is nothing "real" or classy about this woman, and she diminishes the professionalism and public image of her husband, and all who may be peripherally associated with her, including many other players' wives.

When you really look into MOST NFL players, they spend uncountable hours preparing their bodies, attitudes, training, and frequently their public image to become the professional athletes they are. There is often a great deal of politics and posturing that agents and players invest into getting the contracts they receive. And to have that work flushed down the toilet because a self-absorbed potty-mouth wife of a player repeatedly caused public embarrassment to the player and the team is sad, but more importantly, absolutely inexcusable. It's like she is the ranting alcoholic that no one wants to be around, has anger management issues, and thinks the world is always dumping on her, it's always everyone else's fault, and the rest of the world (and the government) owes her and her husband a very generous living and an apology for doubting them.

There is absolutely NO doubt that Brent Grimes is a great athlete and a cool character guy, but if I were the other players or any of their wives and doing anything in the community, she could NEVER be invited. And then she'd wonder, "What'd I say?" Right before she tells us to "F- off! I didn't like you anyway.

Lol sorry you had to type all that but it's just a phrase...

"When keepin it real goes wrong!!!"

Finfilbert - Good to see that Miko got you fired up to comment.
My hunch is that she is an important part of her husband's success. She is the boss and she believes passionately in Brent (and she's rooting hard for the team to succeed). What is unusual is that she is also his manager. Yes, she's potty mouthed and a tad crude, but there is a side of me that enjoys seeing her sticking it to the Bleacher Report writer who effectively wrote that Grimes was washed up, coming back from major surgery and he then makes it to the Pro Bowl. It's been a long time since the Dolphins had a top CB (Pat Surtain and Sam Maddison) and now we have Brent, we should all appreciate him. He fell into our lap (with a little steering from his Manager). Yes, she's probably a big reason why he's here. She bet on her man by negotiating a one year deal and then he came out and aced it. He would still be in Atlanta if the Falcons hadn't tried to short change him.

Enjoyed your intellect. You should post more often.

I couldn't even imagine what that house would be like if he slept with another chick.

Yep. "Hey, famous person. I have rules for the decorum you should show over the internet. What? You say you have a dick for me to eat? This is what I'm talking about! That's against the rules!"

Thank you Spike. Appreciate your hunch. I don't want to give the impression that I don't like or appreciate Brent. God knows I do. And I do not dis-like his wife either, despite my my previous comments appearing to the contrary. If she is indeed his manager/agent, she has done something right. And if she has indeed provided game tickets randomly to fans like a previous poster mentioned, I think that is quite magnanimous of her. She obviously has some merits for which I did not give due credit.

It's just that 1) I don't see the need to be THAT crude in a public forum, where you end up having to explain to your sons and daughters about values & decency and their place in our society, and 2) I don't seem to enjoy the repeating felatio visual I keep seeing in my head when I think of her comments. It's certainly not the best porn I have ever seen...

I don't really have a problem with her, but her behavior is pretty trashy.

I find it funny how she rants and rips people. However, I have a feeling the day may eventually come where she turns on the Dolphins and us the fans.

She is a disgusting human being. For some reason that I can not understand, she is applauded by many. It is a sign of how horrible our culture is becoming.

And you are correct, those who love what she is saying now may not like what she will say when the Dolphins part ways with her "bae".

Absolutely. Best post I have read in a while.

I find it troubling that Ryan and Lauren Tannehill apparently socialize with this "woman". I am starting to believe that story about Ryan becoming a surgeon had he not gotten a shot in the NFL is complete nonsense. He does not seem very intelligent. It sounds more like a pipe dream to me.

I don't really have a problem with her, but her behavior is pretty trashy.

And you know, I didn't want to seem so knee-jerk judgmental; so Republican. So I decided to do a smidgeon of research and Google her interests, her hobbies, her pleasantries, and all sorts of altruism and public service. And oh, what I was entertained to find. Mostly through twitter, she seems to have a great deal of penis-envy, penis-hunger, penis-appreciation, and the majority of her vocabulary is expressed by four letters which, in her vernacular, commonly refer to the male genitalia. If anyone doesn't really understand what I am saying here, I suggest they go re-visit their favorite childhood detective novels, featuring Dick Tracey.

Her public service seems to be providing the entertainment to others who live through her, vicariously. Thank you Miko, for your community service.
