So my theory on the Al Saundes hiring that I posted in another thread seem to be spot on. That theory was that Lazor being a 1st time OC didn't have the knowledge to play chess with the DC in this league. Its one thing to be the OC in someone else's system (Chip Kelly) when DC's make adjustments he doesn't know enough to counter and has no one to turn to. From Dan's Quote below, seems like he has the originator of his passing attack on staff now to help figure out the counter moves. My only concern is.. Who was the originator of the running game? We need him in here too.

Campbell explained the move thusly:

“Bill and I talked, and this pass game is Al Saunders’, it’s got Al Saunders’ stamp all over it. And that’s where Bill got it from, essentially … that style, from that tree. He obviously brings experience, and he brings a lot of experience. … He understands what this offense, particularly the pass game, is supposed to look like.”

Yet our offense last year was the best we had seen in a while. Peculiar regression.

I think that Chip Kelly gimmick crap got exposed. Lazor uses that same system.

NO WAY!

Our offensive line crumbled when Albert left and this team sucked going forward.

Plus in week one last year we hammered the Patriots with a real power back. Then he got injured and the Dolphins did nothing to address the offensive line issues and the running back issues.

Players got demoralized and we played like it.

If I were Dan Campbell I would be so in EVERYBODIES' faces right now.

I would be be in the players grills because its warrior time and Campbell has nothing to f...ing lose.

It would be sick right now as I imagine it to be - over the top and super intense.

Somebody needs to get cut! Somebody everybody is gonna be surprised to get cut is gonna get cut- I'm just sayin...

Maybe Hartline, Wallace, Gibson and Clay were better fit for this offense!!!

Why does Green Bay's offense look so easy? Oh yeah, they go that guy..

Last year was lazor's 1st year here, teams had no film on it, didn't know what Lazor was going to do. Now that they have a full season worth of tape to breakdown , they've made adjustments and now rookie OC Lazor is having trouble adjusting to those Adjustments. Hence the Saunders hire to help him with that. I hope it works for

But if it has Al's stamp on is that good? Or is it the line or qb play? Maybe the system makes sense, but the personnel is bad?

Stopping Lazor's offense is easy.
We are not going to run the ball with him calling the plays, so the DC's gamble on us passing 75%.
Rush 4-5, and play a 30 yard field.
The pocket breaks down in 3 seconds, RT has no time to look for the deep patterns, so he takes the outlet, seam, screen or slant.
This is what I have been watching.
