I think we have a great chance of getting to and winning the superbowl this year and im not jus sayin that cause im a dolphin buff i really think we have a great shot i mean look at our fire power on offense Daunte Culpepper is probly the most complete qb in the league has been to 3 probowls and is 2 years removed from an MVP like season,chris chambers is a probowl reciever and marty booker has been to the probowl b4 fred beasley has been to a probowl and is considerd the best run blocker in the league (for fullbacks) ..we have randy mcmichael who would be a probowler except 2 of the 2 best TE's are in the AFC(Gates and Gonzales) and Ronnie Brown who had a very good rookie season and has a great mix of speed and strength and can catch the ball well out of the backfield ...and our offensive line is considerd to be 1 of the better O-LINES in the league. And 4 defense we have JT and Kevin Carter on the defensive end position both have been to the probowl (carter 2) (taylor 6) and are 1 of the best tandems in the league.. than we have Vonnie Holliday and Keith traylor who are to good DT's..as for linebacker we have zach thomas who has been to numerous probowls and channig crowder who was a standout rookie...than 4 our secondary we have the allen brothers who should bring a positive mix of youth to the team..and travis daniels who had a decent rookie year..ohh and dont forget our coaches mike mularkey who is i decent offensive coordinator.dom capers who is definitley 1 of the better defensive masterminds in the league and last but definitley not least nick saban who is a very smart and tremendous coach who just knows how to get things accomplished..lol .

looking at all of this does ne1 else think that it is more than likley that we'll be back home 4 the superbowl.

There's still some things we can upgrade on but they are not necessary 2 get 2 the SB. I think we can do it for sure.
 
I think we first need to focus on winning the AFC East...I think we can 11 games and should be able to win the division or get the Wildcard. Then we have a great shot at getting to the SB. :dolphins:

I would give you alot more creditability if you hadn't created the longest run on sentence I'd ever seen.
 
and we have to stay healthy. we have capable backups, but i hope they never become starters. and if they do, i hope it's because they have earned it and not because of health issues.
 
i agree but i think we need to concentrate on getting rookies signed, getting through training camp, staying healthy, getting Cpepp ready, then getting he and the WR's on the same page, getting the new DB's acclimated, and winning the first game, then the second and so on. Talk of winning the SuperBowl in June is well, you all get the picture.

Nice thought though, but not likely at this point either....GO FINS!
 
next year, it might be fully legitimate to talk about Super bowls in June...just wishful thinking this year in June...we have to do it on the field...

First things first, let go out there and destroy pitt. then we'll worry of who's next and so on. If we think like that I believe things will take care of themselves.

The biggest thing we need is depth, which I think the team is trying to create. While you named all the starters, it's the backups that really play an important role in a game that injury is just a play away. Our secondary at this point, seems interchangable, with no standouts present, but a bunch of potential to be unleashed. Hopefully the cap is managed in such a way that we can keep the top 53 players, and the next 8 can be kept or we get someone from another team we're eyeing to our PS.
