Perhaps they feel their settlement and the public sympathy is slipping away. That's pretty damning for Martin to be playing back and laughing at the VMs with his team mates. It certainly indicates he may have kept them because he thought they were funny.

I wonder where Martin really is and why no one in the media has pursued him to get his story. He certainly has a lot of questions to answer.

We know where he is. He is back in California with his parents getting emotional counseling, or in a rehab facility out there, one of the two. At least, that's what I've seen reported.

That's why I don't want to personally bash Martin the way some are. I think he has major personal problems he is dealing with right now and I am willing to bet he is not the one running the show here.

Again ... you assume too much. This type of potential action can cut both ways. There is such a thing as harassment through a false claim. I would advise the Martin's to be very, very sure of their future moves.

But not making it clear to management is the problem. The fact of the matter is Martin never drew a line as to where the joking stopped and the so called bullying occurred. The first step is always to tell your boss. If Martin acts like one of the guys and then freaks out I'm mean come on. It's also clear that this really wasn't bullying by the accounts of the eye witnesses in the locker room. Everyone defending Martin can say what u want and speculate all day long....bottom line is we have to listen to the folks that were there

had enough? why were they friends then? you don't have to hang out with someone outside of work. I highly doubt Richie broke into martins house and dragged him out for a night on the town kicking and screaming

I get what you're saying because everyone has their own tolerance. I know with my friends and co-workers we rib each other like that and worse but no one gets hurt, everyone inVolved has thick skin and now out to really hurt each other.
I'm fascinated with race relations regarding the "N" word and how it's used with people. I know most black people call each other that but would never hear it from someone who is white. But now this case it seems like Starks and rest of the black players didn't have a problem with it and it seems it's used in their locker room as an endearment term.

To be honest, based on the information that we know RIGHT NOW..they both handled this situation terribly if you ask me. Martin, IMHO, should've done something differently other than totally flip out. Incognito, as a "leader" should know that Martin is cut from a different cloth. The coaches have made that apparently clear. You're a brute, and he's an intellectual.

I'm not gonna venture too far to Richie's side and call Martin names because this kid seems to have some serious underlying issues. Nor, am I gonna go too far to Martin's side and call Richie a racist especially considering how many of his teammates had been allowing him to use that type of language around them and how many of these guys stood up for him today. The bottom line is none of us has a HEAVEN OR HELL to put either of these guys in. I hate that two players have caused this type of rift amongst the team, fans, etc. Usually, that's a coach or GM causing the rift.

Here's the thing man, I don't believe Martin was scared to speak out or intimidated into silence...I think this was a calculated effort on his part and his parents part to compile damaging information over time with the intention of filing lawsuits against the team and the league for damages...Martin didn't want to play football anymore...but he can't just leave all that potential money behind, now he gets both the money and out of the league...he never reported any abuses because if he had they would have stopped...he isn't legally required to report abuse (no doubt his folks informed him of that) so he remained silent, gathered as much "evidence" as he thought he would need and used a harmless lunchroom prank as his opportunity to set this entire circus in motion...this was cold methodically calculated by the Martins...just like going to the hospital...that is such a planned staged thing it's laughable it's even being reported...so 24 year old thinks "I'm so pissed off at these guys! I should probably check into the hospital for mental anguish" or whatever that term is, checking yourself into the hospital for mental issues would not even occur to someone Martin's age...that was a lawyer telling him to do that...I guarantee when Mr. and Mrs. Martin first got a call saying their son was in the hospital they already had their bags packed
