Moreno and Kuhn

I like Kuhn. His blitz pick up is money and he has some ability with the ball in his hands. Not much, but it's not like he's a complete toad.

No on Moreno, imo. If we're going to let Daniel Thomas go on his merry Daniel Thomas way I'd rather give look see to Anthony Dixon. I could be just projecting because I liked him at Mississippi State but I think his power would complement Lamar Miller and I think he's been sort of stuck behind a great rotation in San Francisco. I seem to remember hearing something about him being lazy and not that bright, though, which is troubling. And his production and ypc has been far below average considering that offensive line.

Anyway, I'd rather address this with a mid round pick this year than anything. Sparing that there are always guys like Delone Carter waiting out there for a phone call. But in any case, buying high on Knowshon seems like a huge mistake to me. Buying high on anyone is a mistake. Find the guy to buy low on.

Kuhn is nasty and a cult hero up there in Green Bay. I would take him. As for Moreno he had his first good year of his career. Probably because he got out of Mike McCoy's offense. But I would pass on Moreno.

No thanks on Moreno. Khun, maybe. Depends on the offense.

I think he had a good year because he was motivated (Contract). And he'll revert to form.

Moreno has been outstanding the last year and a half. He's a very good receiver out of the backfield; he blocks very well; and he's a solid, patient runner. Unless you're just talking Kuhn because he'll be significantly cheaper, Moreno is the obvious choice. He's become a poor-man's E. James.

But I agree with the idea that we should address RB in the draft - or at least try to (with the best two RB's returning to school).

doubt rodgers will let kuhn get away but that is what we need in this o...that kind of bring to the table guy...said it last year before camp when all the talk was lead blocking fb like a vontae leach...wrong

michael egnews cameo there later in the season was not very impressive...

Agreed. Moreno really came on this past year, and has become well rounded. Kuhn has reached legendary status in GB as a player and in the community, so I doubt he leaves GB.

I think Lagarette Blount would be great. His power and vision is great, fumbling and his attitude have always been his issue

This I agree with. I think he is the best back in NE and they are so so HELL bent on suprising people with they game plan that they never use him as much as they should.

Blount fumbles way too much. The RB's in the draft aren't very good outside of Lache Seastrunk. Moreno is clearly the best RB available. GB still has to lock up James Jones, Jermichael Finley, BJ Raji, Sam Shields.. etc. so Kuhn could leave. Moreno and Kuhn are the perfect mix of power running, pass blocking (and lead blocking for Kuhn), and receiving skills. Those 2 would fit this offense very nicely. I'm not suggesting you buy high on any RB, especially in FA. But a solid 2 year deal for Moreno

In all honesty if Mark Ingram is cut from NO I'd take a flier on him. If we are drafting someone in the 2nd or 3rd Rd give me Tre Mason all day.

This^ If we don't draft a guy early then Dixon would be a cheap option and could be a good 1 2 punch with Miller next season.

wow, nobody watched how well Moreno did this year? Especially considering when he ran the ball, it was because the Broncos were up by 75 points and the defense knew they were running it.
