Everyone seems to dismiss Knowshon but he had a helluva year last season and was a major contributor. I was actually pretty excited when we signed him. If healthy, he can be handy.

Even with the league's avg 29th rated OL (based on 5 indep analytics services) and the 26th most productive running game last season, Tannehill still beat 4 out of the 7 seasonal winning teams he faced. Forget the huge loss of Gibson, if Keller (who replaced 1/2 of what Fasano does) didn't go down and we had a RB such as Moreno who could actually block, there's a good chance the season wouldn't have come down to winning or losing games 15 & 16. Would like rushing production from him, but even if Miller's the featured back, we desperately need him in the backfield for his blocking abilities!.

It'll be good to have a veteran RB who can help in pass protection if nothing else.

p.s. If I were Hickey; I'd see if SF wants Thomas. Another idea: The RB's in Jerryworld aren't that great after Murray who is injury prone.
