I hope so. Ideal draft would be McClain, Spikes, Burnett, Graham, then NT/WR/BPA, etc. But fat chance he'll last to the third round. He'll probably be early 2nd.
as deep as this safety class is shaping up to be unless an eric berry were to fall to #12 or an earl thomas in a non trade down/up scenario were to fall to #43 i'm inclined right now to look for possible value at the position with pick #74
i think some good ones will be there in that #50 to #75 range...and maybe even later
Doesn't standout to me and I saw Tech play several times this year. The sites I have reviewed have listed his speed at 4.6. I guess he could be a 3rd round or later option.
theres a very good chance he'll be at our 2nd round pick.3rd round has no chance of occuring, but if we were to take him at 44,I would be delighted.....good value
I haven't watched him play at all, so I'm in no position to comment on his merits, but in regard to the speed issue, didn't Byrd run like a 4.7? He's working out alright for the Bills.
Byrd ran in the high 4.6 range....but he has the hips to play cornerback...
Burnett is a good player but he's not anything to get overly excited about and/or hype up like there's no tomorrow....he looks like he could play either safety position to me which is a plus....but I couldn't see myself spending any more than a 2nd/3rd rounder on him...
