Why is no one talking about this guy? He hits hard and is a ballhawk at a position of need. He also has good size and decent speed.

Is there any chance he'll be there for our 3rd round pick?

by April he may be in discussion for our first round pick. Well... maybe not, but IMO he'll be a first rounder come April

I hope so. Ideal draft would be McClain, Spikes, Burnett, Graham, then NT/WR/BPA, etc. But fat chance he'll last to the third round. He'll probably be early 2nd.

as deep as this safety class is shaping up to be unless an eric berry were to fall to #12 or an earl thomas in a non trade down/up scenario were to fall to #43 i'm inclined right now to look for possible value at the position with pick #74

i think some good ones will be there in that #50 to #75 range...and maybe even later

Doesn't standout to me and I saw Tech play several times this year. The sites I have reviewed have listed his speed at 4.6. I guess he could be a 3rd round or later option.

theres a very good chance he'll be at our 2nd round pick.3rd round has no chance of occuring, but if we were to take him at 44,I would be delighted.....good value

My big concern is how fast he is. If he's a 4.6x guy then he's just not going to be viewed as a very valuable commodity.

I haven't watched him play at all, so I'm in no position to comment on his merits, but in regard to the speed issue, didn't Byrd run like a 4.7? He's working out alright for the Bills.

Byrd ran in the high 4.6 range....but he has the hips to play cornerback...

Burnett is a good player but he's not anything to get overly excited about and/or hype up like there's no tomorrow....he looks like he could play either safety position to me which is a plus....but I couldn't see myself spending any more than a 2nd/3rd rounder on him...

yeah...if i'm not mistaken byrd played cb at oregon...and on tape you could tell that he was gonna run a slow # for a cb...

i never thought safety was in the cards for him...

This is why I would have liked to have seen more of Clemons... to know if FS is a high target in the 2010 Draft or lower round for some back up.

A missed opportunity I think... unless that is, they have seen enough during his reps and practice to know he is or isnt..
