Morgan State DT Armstrong to be available in supplemental draft

24-year-old DT with a bad back and dumber than a box of hair. Yeah, let's burn a future pick on a guy like that. :shakeno:
 
I agree with everyone else. This guy wasn't even very productive. How you can weigh over 300 pounds and only manage 28 tackles in 23 games is beyond me. When you're that big you think you could just stand in place and have people run into you at least a few times a game.
 
I would guess he'd be more appealing to the Bears than us....we have a few young guys. I don't know what is going to happen to Evans, but this is, as far as I know, his first offense, so hopefully it'll be some punishment and a lesson learned...
 
How is his age (24yrs) a factor? He's a DT. If he can step in and contribute, that doesn't matter.

We did pick a 26 yr old QB with a #2 pick, who is going to take way more time to develop than a DT.

If we plan on releasing Evans, maybe this guy's worth a late flyer if the scouts like him. If not, we can probably pass.

Yeah, but a Qb could play longer, and this dude already has back problems
