Lookin at the roster, both of their contracts run out after this year... is there really a need to keep both of them with both Williams and Brown here with us now? Why not trade 'em away, free up the cap and roster room, and pick up another draft pick... more than likely wont get much, but somethings better than nothing... just an idea...

Problem is Morris gets some action and I believe would be our backup FB if Evans went down. Minor would be more probable but he plays special teams fairly well. I would not count on any additional moves. We were lucky to get another 7th from the Saints.

This is true about backing up Evans... but from the looks of it, theyre looking at other FBs to bring in... and in that case, he would no longer be the backup...

Sammy Morris would be a great 3rd RB.
He was the leader in '04 (500+ Yards) and is a great goal-line back, from what i've seen anyways.

Travis Minor doesn't do it for me, however. I think he won't be here next year.

i dont know if morris would want to be the 3rd RB if hes gonna be a FA, he could be a backup somewhere where hed get more playing time than he would sitting behind 2 guys...

id like to keep him, i just dont know if hed want to stay... minor i think would stay for a 3rd RB role and play special teams... id be happy with minor though id rather morris

Guess my main question is, is there anybody out there that would even give up anything for either one of them before the deadline... and if not, would you drop one of them? Or just keep him on the roster?
